How cool Matt. You're welcome. Be very careful when using the Dremel. Go slow, check your progress and make sure you don't cut where the respirator triangle is, because that is a thin piece of plastic

You just scared me off. :lol

Jazz, do you think there's any way to disable the 'auto shut off' function on the circuit board?

I've thought about it, but not without cutting open the body and experiment on the PCB inside.

I guess its a mod few would try since its buried so deep...

but to me that's the only thing holding back the electronic functions -- which are quite wonderful when they're working.

When I get to my own Vader mods, I'll be using many of your tips in your videos -- they are excellent -- but for the electronics, I think I'll be extending the toggle trigger in his back a bit, just enough so I can feel for it.

Well, the timer is no problem if you use my wiring mod. Everytime you power down, the timer resets. I get Darth Vader talking anytime i want

No I know, and its an excellent mod. But I don't want the wires. :dunno The best part of your mod is one activation for all the lights and sounds instead of triggering 3 different switches.

Thanks, Yeah, I see the area I need to drill inside the helmet, which is just above the triangle side.......! I'll probably wait to do this on my next day off, but Vader is ready for me! LOL.

Very cool man!! Good job

Looking good! Are you going to weather the chest box, belt boxes and shoulder armor?

Could be wrong but I'm guessing these are the brushes....

Thanks guys. Sorry Jazz never even noticed your shopping list. Thanks again!

After looking through your list and comparing for prices I found a 20awg dual core wire that's 80 ft for only 9 bucks. Is that going to be too low?

Awesome, thank you. Being brand new to this. You are the absolute best resource for me to learn. I didn't manage to find a good usb. Any recommendations?
