I mean this is the only scale all 3 were released in that was the same.

Voltron II had some smaller versions, and Voltron III had a ton of differrent versions including the plastic one that the 3 3/4" figures fit in.

But if you want a semi-matching set of the 3 Voltrons; this was the only size it happened in... hope that makes sense.

Ah, I gotcha now.

Does the plastic one not display as well or something?

Pretty sure his is the 90's reissue of Voltron... not the original vintage one.

I have vintage diecast versions of Voltron I, II and III:

I have the toynami

Love it...

It's not old school, but it gets the job done.

That is an awesome piece. I wish I could have afforded it when it came out.

How tall is it ?

No, just personal preference. I think the large plastic Voltron III is pretty awesome... but the design of course is altered to accommodate having the figures fit inside of them.

I'd say that masterpiece figure is probably the most accurately proportioned Voltron III you will find. But I prefer my vintage version purely for nostalgic reasons.

Depending on condition... somewhere around $100ish each.

Oh those a-holes probably will but it will be online only, 10 per person and sell out in seconds. Screw Mattel.
