Hmm, I can't narrow it down...I'll give you my top 5 in no particular order.

1.Kenner Super Powers Superman
2.Kenner ESB Han Solo Bespin Fatigues
3.Hasbro COBRA: Zartan V.1
4.Hasbro G.I. JOE: Flash V.1 swivel arm
5.Kenner ROTJ Luke Skywalker Jedi Knight

No Deak! Only one... house is burning, children and photo albums are safe.

What do you grab and which 4 do you let burn :devil :devil :devil

Exactly! :lol That's the one that got away from me as a kid. Going oldschool with the aquisition too. I've decided that I don't want to go the ebay route. I'd rather hit up toy shows and see if I can score him the old fashioned way. Unfortunately, I got out bit on a complete one during a show in SoCal a few years back and the only other one I've found that was complete, dude wanted a Grand for, so I passed. One day though, it'll happen! :lol

Buying old school in an old school way... I can respect that. I'm not that patient though :lol I have a Gaiking (and just bought a Godzilla) but Mazinga is where its at. Just all around badass :rock

Yeah, that was my problem though. With ebay making everything so readily available, grabbing grails was easy. Pretty much to the point where I forgot all the fun of the hunt, going store to store on restock days to nab those rare figures and hitting up the shows to find the ones that seemed abundant on the east coast but were damn near impossible to score here. Seems a bit masochist by today's standards, but I love it. :lol

Just for fun... what do you guys consider to be the #1 most awesome single Vintage or piece of all time.

Not a series, but a single piece that just screams badass!!!

damn you joseph..................i love them all............:monkey2 but........

Please don't say it's the 18" kenner Alien form the 70's, it would be too hard to dig him out. :slap

no need.............we can share the pic.............:1-1:

I thought I'd already posted these but either I'm wrong or it was on another thread by accident.

Super body GI Joe, things fell apart after a couple years, I fixed them myself.

Best of the West, some of my first toys. Johnny West, Thunder bolt, and the brown pony are complete. I'm only missing a few things on Capt. Maddox, lost most all of Jane West's stuff, and Sam Cobra (I think that's his name) was give to me like you see him.

That's a grail for me as well... I have great memories of Godzilla and the Shogun Warriors I had a kid.

So I went by a local Michael's the other day and they had these comic book frames on sale for 4.99 ea. so I picked up a couple. Here's two I framed last night (sorry about the crappy photo):

Not bad... I might hang these and a few others in my collection room.

I also took a couple quick pics of my loose SW vintage collection, which seems to be growing by the day.

I'm getting pretty close to the half way mark, though most of the figures I incorporated from my remaining childhood pieces no longer seem to be of a high enough quality, condition wise.... Sensor-scope R2 and Farmboy Luke both come to mind....

If not for the old Joes, would this forum even exist? :)

I'd like to get one or two at some point.

I think those are Tiger Sharks... but I'm not really familiar with the series or the toys from it. Just know they are uber rare :lecture

Damn that is nice. Is that in this week's sale ?

Yeah, I do like those comic book frames as well...

Could you put a CGC book in there? The only thing I could think of hanging would be my GI Joe #1...
