seems like the dome has a couple of looks in the movie (whether intentional or not) one being semi clear & and another really clouded over. so why not interchangeable domes??? doesnt seem like that would be too hard to do & would give most the choice without having to mod. 
Hardly surprising 3 is steaming ahead since the alien always had a foggy dome. I don't know why thats in doubt.

It seems to me that not everybody understand
what
we are talking about here.
On Tokio exhibition HT showed us the Alien as a costume that was screened in the movie. I really like HT paintjob here, even in case that it's a little bit too light. But these dark-orange spots are pretty authentic.
But there was very dark in the movie and it seemed that the Creature was black. So the #3 option is movie-look-like Alien.
I think that both variants are cool, and producing of both will be really great.
So I vote for making two aliens_1: screening costume and movie-like version.
I will gladly buy both for my collection.
And the last things - skull should be slightly transparent (not black, now white, transparent) and mouth looks kicks-ass (c) on photoshoped photos, but not on the prototype IMHO

Gonna have to go with #3 as well, though maybe not QUITE so cloudy/white... Definitely the best out of the three though.
As far as colour goes, I can somewhat understand the whole "suit" concept, but I want it as it appears in the film.
