Pretty random video that Disney made telling folks about the new Goofy's Sky School attraction, replacing Mulholland Madness in Disney California Adventure. I think it's kind of a waste of a do-over but happy that they went to the trouble of doing a character video anyway...

I went to California Adventure sunday and since it was pouring, I didn't take a lot of pictures. This is the only one that kinda came out.

Other shots were of Flynn's Arcade neon signs and of Electronica

Besides the actually inconvenience of rain, that's the biggest disappointment... not taking as many pictures.

Despite having a not very good Powershot, I still love taking pictures there, and going through them at home. But this trip there was maybe 20% of what I'd normally take.

Well, that is exactly what I've been doing for the last couple of weeks since I've been back... going through over 1800 pictures I took on my vacation at WDW and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter this past holiday season. :horror

I had a BLAST!!! Easily the best family vacation I've ever been on!

I would like to thank all of you on this thread for supplying me with all the info of the parks beforehand. It helped immearsurably. :clap :clap :clap

I will be posting a few of my pictures here in the next couple of weeks... I hope that it's alright. :wink1:

I'll start off with one of my favorite moments... when my son took on Darth Vader in the Jedi Acadeny show at the Disney Hollywood Studios. The Jedi Master of the show made some crack about my son looking like Harry Potter. When my son lashed out at Vader he used a confident one hand hold to the lightsaber.

The Jedi Master when quipped, "It's not a wand, Potter". Too funny.

I also caught up with my other favorite orangutan, King Louie!

More pics to come!

So glad you had a great time! I can't wait to see more pics!

Nice lanyards!!!! :lol :rock

Can't wait for more pics!

And is King Louie still taking pics in Africa? He really should be in Asia if they want to be film accurate.

Proto probably has a ton more pics! Until then, here's a few shots of Disneyland from last night.

Yes, we have a tiny castle. Wanna fight about it?

Pics from California Adventure to come if there's no WDW update!

Cohete, are you one of those people I see walking around with the giant camera bags? Or are those from a more reasonably sized camera?

I love being able to just put my Powershot back in my pocket, but it absolutely sucks for night pictures and almost anything moving.

I do have a camera backpack usually! And I would love to be able to enjoy the park without holding a camera but I like taking pictures too much. I'm always trying to improve upon what I did the trip before so I gotta.

Headed over to DCA for more ElecTRONica fun

Is the park that dead this time of year or were you the last one out? :google

The park closed at 11pm yesterday and I took this shot a little bit after that. There were people walking the streets but I did a 15 second exposure... they became a blur.

I think if I was a local, I'd definitely do the same.

I'm so jealous of you locals who get to hit these parks whenever you want during the year. I have to make a big vacation out of it. :gah:

Yah, and that's pretty much me. But even if I go all day with friends or on a solo photo excursion, it's the very same. There's no better way to capture the day.

Here's the first set of pics.

One of the things I was looking forward to this trip is to actually dine in the castle. The meal definately wasn't cheap, but it felt great to be there.

Here is the entry room where you meet your host princess and take the obligitory group photo.

You then walk up stairs to the dining area... which was smaller than I imagined but very intimate. The photos are set high so I wouldn't get any other patrons in the shots

It was really cool to look out the windows to Fantasyland. In the first shot you can see a crane that is being used for the Fantasyland expansion.

And your images, as always Coheteboy, take my breath away.

There's nothing better than Disney at night. I find myself more and more going in the late afternoon and early evening and staying until closing that getting there at rope drop. Unless I'm doing a full day with my cousin. She lives in Tallahassee so when we go we make a full day of it. It's awesome how empty that park is at that time too.

Thanks, Protozaius! How was the food at the castle restaurant? And... just how much is it anyhow?
