I did breakfast at Storyteller's last time and it was much better than the dinner experience.

At Trattoria I got the (not going to attempt the word) short pasta Aglio Olio, and my wife got the Quattro Pomodoro (those might all be misspelled). Both pastas were overcooked, my sauce was just oil with no garlic and hers was just tomato with no seasoning. She did really like the Tiramisu (I hate coffee so I never eat it).

It might be a better experience outside on a nice day/night, because the interior is pretty drab. Also, the service was awful.

Ah bummer. I got the seafood pasta (whatever that's called) last time I was there and the lasagna the time before that. Both were nice outdoor experiences.

But now that you bring it up, the one time I did get seated indoors, I had CRAPPY service and walked out because we waited for 10 minutes with not even a hello. Though, this was shortly after Robert Mondavi pulled out of the sponsorship so it was probably expected to have rocky and inconsistent service back then.

Storyteller's I've only done once at breakfast and thought the food was pretty blah. I've done dinner most of the time and have always enjoyed it. Certain servers do make the difference though as I've had my share of disappointing servers.

I've only done Storyteller's once for breakfast, so I guess the 1/1 is a good average but could easily be lowered. I got the buffet and was actually a bit disappointed. The selection wasn't bad, just not what you'd expect for the price. My wife got the Banana Stuffed French Toast for about $12 less, and it was a HUGE plate, and the food was great.

Yah, I wasn't a fan of the breakfast buffet the 1 time I got it either so we can probably agree that ordering off the fresh menu is the way to go for that location.

I wish I had gone to Disneyland today, didn't realize so many people I knew was gonna be there. I usually go but didn't look into it. Anyways, here's a selection of highlights from 2010 just for fun.

Lovely look at the year. It's funny, I don't go to Disneyland, but after reading your picture posts throughout the year, seeing the year in summary felt like I have been a part of that stuff.

I'll never the night the video of Wonderful World of Color was posted. I left work early and spent the afternoon at Dinsey with my 10 year old cousin, we spent a good hour or so playing on Tom Sawyer's island, between that bonding experience and the scene with Mufasa's death, I realized that I'm probably going to lose my father without ever having the opportunity to have a good relationship with him. It's funny how big of an impact Disney can have on your life without it even intending to.

My first trip to Disneyworld is booked :yess:

7 nights in Florida in June with my partner and four year old son :)

Can't wait for this experience

We arrive on the 6th of June :)

Awesome, it won't be as hot or crowded during that time as it is later in the summer. A few tips...utilize the fast pass system. It's free and all you need is your ticket. You can get a second fast pass before time for your first one, I think it is like two hours or something.

At Epcot do Spaceship Earth (the big ball) last. It always has a long line early in the day, but mid afternoon it'll be walk on. At Magic Kingdom, if you are there at rope drop, I recommend going stright through to Fantasyland first, it'll be less crowded first thing and the lines won't be as long.

Toy Story Mania has a crazy line, even the fast pass line is long and is usually out in a couple of hours (if they last that long), so I recommend doing it at rope drop.

All of that said, my personal philosophy on lines is that waiting in a long line with good company is good quality time. You'll be there all week, so you should be able to get everything done. Soak up the atmosphere and enjoy the magic. You're going to have a great time.

Oh, and, get a dole whip. They are in Adventureland at Aloha Isle across from the Swiss Family Robinson treehouse. They're amazing. Personally I prefer the float (pineapple softserve in pineapple juice).

^But doesn't Future World close earlier than World Showcase?

And I just went to California Adventure in the pouring rain... now I know how Cokebabies felt when he went but it was completely DEAD. I only went to do ElecTRONica and get some Flynn's Arcade tokens for my friends and then went to see TRUE GRIT at the downtown disney AMC.

It used to, but even then most of the attractions were still open, it was only a few that closed at 7. But good point, maybe not last, so much as later in the day. Thanks for the catch, Cohete.

Future World itself closes earlier, but Test Track, Soarin', and SSE almost always stay open much later.

But Agent preaches the truth. NEVER wait on a long line for SSE. Walking into the park, seeing the suckers waiting 45 minutes, then coming back a few hours later and just walking on is fantastic.

Are you staying at a WDW resort? If so, definitely take advantage of morning Magic Hours if you can.

And speaking of, whether it's Magic Hours or just getting there at opening, Agent is right on the money. At Magic Kingdom, I would get a FastPass for an attraction outside of Fantasyland, then hit all the FL rides (since many of them don't have FastPasses). Never waste a FastPass on Philharmagic. It's one of the best attractions in the park, but even during the busier times, it's rarely more than a 15 minute wait, and is usually an almost-walk on.

For Toy Story, if you get there when it opens, don't bother with a FastPass. You'll wait longer in that line than you would have if you just went right on the ride's line.
