Went to Disneyland and California Adventure on Wednesday. First time I had been into Adventure and gone on rides. I went with some wealthy friends of mine who have an autistic son, so they have a special pass that let's them go to the front of lines on rides, or get fast passes. Because of this, I was able to go on Cars in about 20 minutes or less. It was great. They even took me to eat at the Carthay Circle (Ridiculous prices for small portions).

So everything looks like I will be visiting Disneyland Paris one more time before my Annual Passport expires. During the Halloween festivities I will be paying it another visit.

This will be the first time ever I will be in DLRP during the Halloween season and I do hope the decorations and extra shows are fun.

DLP goes crazy for Halloween. Everything is covered in decorations and they even have special characters walking around the park. You will be impressed.

Yah from what I've seen, Disneyland Paris INVENTED Halloween at the parks. They're the ones that set the bar and everyone else copied from it. I think you're in for a treat! I'm so jealous!



And looks like you had a good time, EdwardNygma! The food at Carthay... was it good? You said it was small portions and ridiculous prices, but if it tastes good then there's at least that to look forward to. And it IS a theme park so all food prices are inflated to a degree.


Tonight, the Disney Parks Blog is hosting a free World of Color meet up. 500 people who signed up get to enjoy DCA for free from 7pm-11pm and get free Glow with the Show mouse ears. I managed to get in so I'll report back after on how it goes.

I did have a good time

As for the food at Carthay, my meal was actually really good. I ordered a bowl of pasta that had cheese sauce and parmesan. It was a small portion, but it was delicious. My acquaintance ordered Duck and she got what looked like two baby ducks. Very small. The selection in that restaurant is terrible, I think there were only 10 things on the regular menu. Most of us ordered off of the kid's menu (didn't affect the size, regular meals were small too), which wasn't much better. It is a nice looking restaurant though. If you can afford it and you are a fan of the parks I'd say it's cool to eat there once.

Has anyone been to the new addition in WDW with Belle's castle? When I was there in mid May a cast member told me it was opening in June and then the entire part in October.

None of that area is open yet as of one week ago. It's still a good bit off as far as I know.

Disney California Adventure last night! Had fun!

The sky around 7:30pm was a nice blue-pink hue... perfect for an evening at Disneyland

They lead us in and we picked up these "glow with the show" ears that light up the night.

But what makes these ears unique is that during World of Color, they send out an infrared signal to all the hats and they turn colors in synch with the show.

After the show, headed into Cars Land again..

It was a 45 minute wait in the single rider line. worth it.

It looks so amazing. World of Color and Cars land. I wish something like that would come to DLP but I think Marvel is up first after the Ratatouille attraction and perhaps Toy Story Mania.

Ramone's Body Art is a shop for all things low-rider and Cars Land

Mater's Junkyard Jamboree is the sleeper attraction of the year. So much fun.

Filmore's Taste-In has chips, fruit, drinks, and other things. I kinda wish it was a slushee stop or organic juice place.
