IMHO I think we are comparing apples to oranges as it relates to a Hot Toy figure and a maquette. Two different products, with price ranges aimed at different audiences.

In my opinion, if you want to purchase the HT WM and pat yourself on the back for all the cash you saved. Great...more power to you. At the end of the day if you think the purchase enhances your collection go for it. Personally I do not believe the 12 inch HT figure has the "omph" or presence of a 20 inch 15lb maquette. For the perceived increased quality of the maquette I'm willing to pay extra for it. I'm fortunate to have the resources to purchase it, and quite frankly, purchasing the HT version and saving some cash isn't worth it to me.

:exactly:

That's just how i feel as well. :goodpost:

:goodpost::goodpost: True that. The maquette looks badass in every way possible. Can't wait to have this guy on my shelf as he'll demand all eyes on him as soon as someone enters the room.

This picture is making me consider ordering the MKVI maquette too. Will probably just get the regulars as I doubt nameplates are necessary to identify who they are.

I don't remember this much toy vs statue talk in the Mark IV threads, maybe I missed it.

While a massive maquette certainly has more presence than a 12" toy, in this case I'd say the somewhat plain pose in comparison to the Mark IV's dynamic nature it a little underwhelming and makes me consider picking up the HT version instead.

That said, I do look forward to all the pictures when it comes out, maybe I'll change my thoughts about the pose.

To me, the pose is just fine. I personally don't need every piece to be an action pose, it compliments the Iron Man nicely. Ordered.

i dont make nough money were paying 600 for statue isnt a big deal. it is expensive. but in my opinion i would rather shell out the 600 for this which ia big impressive statue that will be a stand out piece in my collection room that 150 for a 12 inch toy that does look great , it just doesnt compare in my opinion to this statue. thats not a dig at hot toys collectors everyone has there own tastes and enjoy different things to collect. this is just my opinion. i just know that this statue along with iron man will blow me away and the hot toys version would be great but nothing that i would get to excited for, and for that reason i will get this on flex so it softens the blow
