But this is a SS released piece unlike a HT. There is no excuse for not having a BSP.

Given the price point on this piece I think it would be a very serious mistake not to have a Backstage Pass. IMHO the BSP is a very effective tool for either changing a buyer's mind on a piece or getting them off the fence.

During this month, July, new items shows up at 12:50pm(Eastern) to like 1pm. I believe its 10am or 9:50am in California.

Before this month, and maybe again after this month, it usually came out at like 8:50pm(Eastern) to 9pm(Eastern). Minus 3 hours if you live in California(Pacific time).

^^^^go on the website at 10am

start watching there sight at 5:00 pm . until about 6:30 pm .california time on thursdays. items usually go up in that time

Oh wow I really need to match it with my New Zealand time. Thank you guys and I hope it is not in the early morning otherwise I will have to stay awake whole night:gah:

I think we both misunderstood one another's post. I wasn't patting myself on the back for all the cash I saved. In fact, I plan on purchasing the maquette which means I will be spending more money than if I purchased the Hot Toys version. My point was that in this instance, I would rather pay a premium for the maquette than save money and purchase the Hot Toys version. And there is nothing wrong with that. Conversely, I don't have any hate for anyone who elects to purchase the Hot Toys version. If you are one of those people who thinks it's absolutely outrageous to pay $500+ for a statue that's perfectly fine. But don't s*%t on me, or try to dampen the enthusiasm of potential buyers, just because you don't like the price or can't afford it. That comment was not direct at you Tyler, it was meant as a general comment.

I owe you an apology, after reading your post I felt that you were under the impression I was trying to convince people that they had to purchase the Maquette. I never want to tell anyone about how they should spend their money...it's none of my business. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

nah, no apology to me necessary but i appreciate it, dude. glad to see some real maturity on this board. it's somewhat rare.

anyway, no harm, no foul. :)

back on topic... does anybody know if the GREEN accents on the war machine maquette's ribs and elsewhere are official? it was near impossible to make out the colour details in the film, aside from his obvious black and silver. and the ht version doesn't have them.

I'm still shocked as to how expensive the Iron Man 2 statues are! :horror

Cool pieces, but man that's a lot of cheddar....

I have no problem with the price and i need to own these. :D

You not getting one Chris?

Solid if you look at the trailer for IM2 starting at 2:18 you can see the arc on the chest is indeed white but on the poster in your vid it's red. :dunno
