It should be interesting to see how this really does this upcoming weekend. Essentially as one reviewer posted if you show this at 8:00 PM then the next showing couldn't take place in that same theatre until 11:00 at the earliest....I know quite a few people who are interested based off of trailer alone but balked at the run time. The Jonas Brothers movie fell from no. 2 to no. 9.....I'm wondering if this will do the same.

I hope they put Coraline back in 3D theatres since it made more than the Jonas Bros. movie this weekend.

Prolly 12 mil over the 3 day weekend.

Taken will out perform it.

And before any of the defenders get sand in their vagina, I liked the movie.

i agree...this movie was really long. it got to the point where me and the GF almost got up and left because she had to get up for work.

It didn't help that it had like 5 fade-to-blacks (or whites)... but wait, there's more!!! (don't get me wrong, I love the whole LOTR series, but that was a bit much... it was like they didn't want to say goodbye :lol)

I have never actually left a movie... although I've come close twice... once in Hostel (not to make anyone mad, but that one of the dumbest movies to ever get a wide theatrical release), and Lady in the Water (the most narcissistic to ever get a wide release).

You know, I thought this thread was popular before. You guys tacked another nine pages onto it since I left for work today. ^^^^...
