not only that. it was the first time he ever actually tried to catch a bullet.
until then, everyone just assumed he could do it.
badass.

how was he stronger? they didn't arm wrestle or anything.

Well, yeah, he beat Comedian's ass and handed NO and Ro their collective asses all at once in the ending scenes and even handed SS her ass for a minute there too.

If you care about movies that have a brain, or balls, (and this film's got both, literally)...
HA!

man, i never would've guessed the guy from Guyver 2 would end up making my favorite movies.

I liked the movie! I thought it was pretty loyal to the Graphic Novel....maybe a little to loyal actually, tho I have to say I hated the soundtrack...all the songs they put in teh movie was wiggity wack (except the Philip Glass song that they put during Dr.Manhattan's story).

The sex scene was awkward as hell....and I feel bad for the animator that had to animate Doc's Blue Balls!!

But all in all....it was pretty entertaining! Oh and I'm glad they changed the ending!

thinking of it one day later and cant wait to see it again.movie rocked.

Metal Gear dude.

:lecture

He's provided the English voice single Metal Gear Solid on the Playstation

What a Legend :D

How are the B.O. numbers looking?

The weekend numbers were disappointing; especially the rankings adjusted for inflation. Everyone knows I think the movie is critically flawed but I still hoped for a better performance if only to encourage more risks in the future. Very curious to see what it does this weekend since the word of mouth trajectory in its first three days was fairly dire (weekday grosses have only been about 15% of its take this week).

Very telling is the unprecedented appeal currently at the top of AICN, which smacks of internal politics and damage control.

I am guessing 20 million or less this weekend.
