I used to love this suit. Now it’s my most hated. I don’t mind repaints, but if I was rich I’d buy up every collectable based on this suit, be it a figure, statue, bust, or even the real thing, and throw them all in the ocean where it rightfully belongs. Compared to all live action Batman outfits, this is the worst one ever made.

And I really like the Baleman suit. But not in this colour scheme, his head looks like a frigging dolphin.

Either the first appearance nod (though would move the gun holster down to the belt where it belongs, and eliminate the target logo). Or the Blue and gray, from this line would have worked better for a "100th Anniversary" thematic release.

I'm sure there are ways to tackle this concept and produce far less disgusting results- but not like this.

A quick Google search produces a bunch of designs I actually would have considered buying.
At least HT are making it way easier for me to afford InArt stuff these days. I'm saving so much money!!

I said same things as most here. Why?! Why the hell would they use TDK Batman of all suits in this color. Why not Batfleck from BvS he would have been better. Or even a new improved version of him with movable cowl and better body and suit and cape. Wtf HT.

Sorry, this one to me is a miss... this suit was just not meant for any type of blue to be added,
let alone the metallic one they chose. Pretty gaudy, IMO.

The color scheme doesn’t work here, but I’d love to see it on a Keaton suit like in the Flash trailer.

I like how they picked the worst live action Batman suit to do this with and it's not even the recently upgraded Armory version but the "inferior" DX19 version of the suit. Skinny neck with the inaccurate shoulder pads to boot.

This would have also looked 1000% better if they didn't decide to use a super high candy gloss coat on those blue parts. Wtf were they thinking there?

I mean, this was basically my idea

This is my favorite suit for a lot of reasons, obviously, but I did a contest a while back to see which 2008 5” Batman toy I should turn into a 1:6 figure and a blue and grey TDK suit won. My plan was to make the figure and sell it in one of my charity auctions. It was still on my to do list but I had already announced it with a photo edit.

It’s sort of funny because the edit of a black figure makes the cowl look chrome blue, which wasn’t intentional, but it almost looks like Hot Toys tried to copy that with their actually chrome blue non-sense. Mine will be painted a matte/satin powder blue.

It's amazing that this color scheme would have looked great on any Affleck suit, or the Keatons, or even possibly Pattinson, and they chose the singular suit that it would not work at all for. And they didn't even match the cape to the cowl.

Makes me wonder if they had extra parts sitting in a warehouse that they needed to get rid of.
