I don't think the delay would be much a factor in cancellations, if anything it gives you time to save, but the trouble is, how many of Sideshow's 1/6 collectors are Star Wars fans and big collectors of that, and those people may be putting Star Wars ahead of other lines so the delay could land other lines amidst a big outpouring of SW items, such as the Probes and Jabba package coming now with Legolas and the first 2 Terminator figures, with Boromir likely around the corner from LOTR. I think the best bet would be to coordinate releases so that there is breather room between lines, maybe a month or two between a major ammount of SW releases and the other 1/6 items.

Breather room between lines? I would most certainly welcome that! This month is really killing me, since I collect the 12" SW, LotR and Terminator line. Besides that I have a Grey Hulk coming. January is a tough month...

Isn't that a Spas-12?

edit: yes, it's a Spas-12 with the shotgun shells mounted on the top.

Sarah's coming fairly soon...

Anyone know what kind of shotgun she used in the final battle scene with the T 1000?
"Clever girl..." (a quote from a different movie but same weapon used -try and guess which movie!)

Sarah used a Italian-made SPAS 12.

I'll add some links to some 1/6th scale SPAS 12's once I find them... There's a website that sells just about every military 1/6th scale figure you can imagine, from Hot Toys, Dragon to BBI. For the life of me I can't think of the name of the website.

Thanks brother freaks, a SPAS-12 it is... thought it was wooden stock which might be the "Euro" type

I'm hoping SSC will do final battle set of these: Sarah (long hair with SPAS-12), BD T 800 and T 1000...

btw, the T 800 and 1000 wore different outfits in the final battle scene: The T 800 opened the film wearing a black t-shirt and it was grey later in the film and as you all the know the T 1000 had Police biker garb at Cyberdyne.

Depends on what you want to do though, if you're going for Sarah with the shotgun, then the soon shipping T-1000 is right for those senes, just maybe a head with the eye blown out. As for Terminator's shirt, they never show it but I think the switch is when he's being repaired in the garage after Pescadero, they must snag some shirt to aid in keeping up his human disguise, tough walking around in a T-shirt with bloody bullet holes.

The stock wasn't wooden. Are you referring to the forearm/pump-grip? The SPAS-12 that Sarah had did in fact have a wooden pump. The whole time Sarah used it in the movie she kept the stock, metal, folded on top of the shotgun.

For your conveniance, I've included pictures.

Correct. He gets the grey tshirt after the escape from Pescadero at the old gas station/auto repair shop.

Thanks folsom, I meant the wooden forearm pump which might have been the "Euro" style SPAS-12. :D

As for the T-1000 were getting, it is NOT accurate for final shotgun battle with Sarah pictured above, in that scene he was wearing the biker outfit with pant stripes (sans helmet and jacket) which he wore from cyberdyne on as I mentioned earlier...

Ok, sorry, to me the Biker outfit was the helmet and jacket, didn't notice stripes or anything.

I hope Sarah not evening being for sale in regular edition at the time of release doesn't affect the Terminator line, that would be tragic. I am really tempted to get her to go with the Terminators, but I can't get past how big the head looks on the body, in some poses it doesn't show much but it just seems off, maybe it's cuz they put the head on the next instead of doing heads with necks like the males, I wonder why that is.

Actually I think he is the same if I remember. The biker cop version is the one that shattered but he reformed himself in the regular cop outfit for the rest of the film.

I hear ya maulfan, the neck post looks VERY small which gives Sarah the lollipop head effect, but SSC has made strides lately in more proportionate head size with maul and others so her head may be more in scale on the figure, we'll see. I DO believe we'll see a final battle set, they did a FB Scarface and are huge fans of the film and Terminator license so they'll prolly go ahead and do it anyway, there are tons of collectors who want a BD T 800 for sure.

Nope Evil, he had biker pant stripes in final battle, a screen shot will confirm this...

I don't think Sarah's head is off in size but I think the style of the neck is giving it that effect, human necks are for the most part as wide our our heads but that's not the case with this figure. Maybe I'll just get one while I have the chance, they may not do another one and it'd stick to miss out and think later on, oooh what if i got that.

The red flag is thrown out, we have a coach's challenge so the refs will call up the tape and review the play.

Dude, it was a joke, I already know the answer, saw the film a few days ago. :D

Great final battle set though:

Long Hair Sarah
BD T 800
Biker Cop T 1000

After reviewing the play, the call that the pants worn for the scene in question were the same as the current figure is ruled wrong, there was a stripe present and the current figure is ruled as unsuitable to duplicate this scene accurrately.
