Its the wind thats doing it where I am, blowing it around and making the drifts really high in places. Public Transits barely going in Philly, the buses are getting stuck and the back streets are non existant.

It's actually snowing in the Phoenix area now too. I've never seen snow here in the valley in the 12 years I've lived here.

Doesn't happen often in Seattle - but it looks like this time the snow may stay awhile. Unfortunately that also means roads of sheer ice....I live at the bottom of a hill and have been watching the cars slide down. Silly drivers. At least this year, my truck is parked in back so it won't be a sitting target for crazy drivers like it was a few year ago.

it's been in low the low double digits without windchill for the last few days here. saturday it was -10 driving to work in the morning
