A teeny weenie Sauron stood on one of the balconies! No bigger than a pinhead.

Have to admit, I'd love that.

I had the DM piece and it turned me off of the idea of having an eye. If it did include an eye accessory, I don't think that I'd display it.

Probably 9/10 it would look pretty cheap. I just figured if anyone could do it justice, it would be Weta.

The detail in this shot is incredible. Great photos, Josh. Must've been awesome to see all this stuff in person. Think I'll break down and get this at some point.

Yeah, I love being able to stare at them up close for 5 days. Its pretty damn fun to be honest. I try the best I can to capture as much detail as I can in each shot so people can see what I'm seeing.

Yeah, I took a photo of Daniel Falconer showing me how to use the app. The way it works is it recognizes the shape be it from that pic or on a t-shirt.

No problem. I agree this really is a must have. I'd say probably in the next month or so.

The cool part is, when they originally designed the tower for the movies, Weta actually did build Sauron a balcony at the very top of the tower (just beneath the horns)!

I'm really hoping that's included on this statue. If it is, it's just another of the dozens and dozens of jaw-dropping, microscopic details on this statue that I can't wait to pore over with a magnifying glass!

Looking at Josh's great pics (thanks Josh!) the balcony indeed seems to be there. Incredible detailing! But do I detect some slight damage to the protuding "spikes" just to the left (on the picture) of the balcony...? Hopefully it's from handling and not shipping!

Thanks! I try to take good clear and crisp photos. That way the details come through and I've gotten help from a fellow freak Rook in how to do that.
