Statue Weta - Azog the Defiler on Warg

Dain is going to look cool I'm sure. Just based on the Dwarven armor we've seen but him on a War Boar should look pretty awesome.

It's whether he gets the 'air time' I think that will decide how he is represented. I really hope the film fans don't win out too much as the likes of Goblin King will be relegated down to trinket size because he was too fugly looking for those who have never picked up the books

I think he will get some good air time in film 3. Which puts him a ways off statue wise I would think but I'd be shocked if we don't get him on the boar. Assuming it looks cool enough. It will be a real shame if we don't get a full size Goblin King .

Films vs Books again as far as Azog as a character goes. I want him for his sheer presence within the lore of the line of Durin, and his screen visualisation has been a plus as well as he looks brutal!
Dain as a major player would be a huge plus for me and if matched to face Azog on alleged War boar, then

But WETA have already stated that the current Dwarves and Azog line up are to compliment each other so who knows if we will see another Rider and steed piece like this

I would consider Azog on Warg a great success just on looks,size,weight and Rapid sales of all 500 pieces considering the huge price tag...I definitely see another rider piece coming one of these days

I'm hoping for Eomer on steed and mouth of Sauron on steed. I think they'd be the only horse and rider statues I'd be interested in!

I'm hoping for something jaw dropping. Hopefully by that time my PO list is nice and short.

Eomer on Firefoot would be epic and may well appear as there hasn't been a decent one made other than the custom attempt from a couple of years ago which turned into a bit of a disaster . MoSoS has also been made as a custom and a very fine job was made of it which would mean a direct comparison piece to drool over. Arwen on Asfaloth is the other 'biggie' but it ain't Glorfindel so not for me

I think Weta almost certainly will do a Dain on boar. Also another cool rider statue would be Theoden on Snowmane.

I was disappointed that Theodens Golden Shield wasn't more pronounced and it wasn't dimmed by the witch kings/fell beast shadiw

Gandalf on Gwaihir would be an excellent statue. Weta has not produced an eagle yet. The only poly we have with an eagle involved is the "Battle above the Black Gate" dio from SS which was amazing. Any poly involving an eagle would be welcome!

Ah I see! I don't think the Grey ever rode Shadowfax. Not in the movies anyway. In the books he does after Gwaihir rescues him from Orthanc and he incurs the wrath of Theoden by taking his horse to ride back to find the hobbits..... Ok I'll stop being geeky now..

In the TT film he did ride Shadowfax wearing a grey cloak over his white one on the way from Fangorn to Edoras. No hat though.
