9 chapters into The Lord of the Rings.

I wish I could go back and read LOTR for the first time. I forget how long it took me exactly, but for the whole time I was reading it it was like nothing else around me existed

Agreed the first time reading the books are special but even after so many readings its as great really. One thing I really like to do is listen to the EE soundtracks while I read. Its really awesome.

I just finished reading: Batman: Noel Really good little read that is a nice spin on the Dickens classic.

I am in the middle of A Clash of Kings. I took a 3 day break and read the first Hunger Games book. I liked it. I thought some things were a bit cheesy and I really hope they cut some of the cave scenes out of the movie. Now, I am asking myself if I should go back to Clash or read 2nd Hunger Games....

I thought some things were a bit cheesy and I really hope they cut some of the cave scenes out of the movie. Now, I am asking myself if I should go back to Clash or read 2nd Hunger Games....

I have under a hundred pages left in Game of Thrones, but I don't think I'm gonna continue reading the series since the show depicts it so well. I don't know if I'm a fan of GRRM writing style.

Same here...my parents got me an iPad for Christmas, I downloaded it that night and I'm about 500 pages in already. Incredible writing.
