Just read Savages. It doesn't look like the movie is doing that good. Not sure because the book was awesome. So I guess I will go see what they ____ed up. :dunno

Just started this last night. So far it's really good.

Finishing this. Originally saved it for car/train rides, but I might as well finish it now that some stuff changed.

Aztec by Gary Jennings...My favorite novel of all time by one of the best historical authors ever...Reading his stuff puts you in theat moment in time...detailed wonderfully

I finished the fifth book in the A Song of Ice and Fire series; A Dance With Dragons.
I've started the first book about a year ago, so almost my entire reading during last year took me to the mythical lands of Westeros and beyond.

On the one hand I'm glad that I finished the series so far, so I can read other stuff as well. On the other hand I really hope book six won't take too long to come out, because there were some major cliffhangers going on there.

Today I just started To Kill A Mockingbird.

Re-reading The Passage for the fourth or fifth time in anticipation for the book release of the second book in the series, The Twelve, next month.

Sucks, it's already available for Kindle but I prefer physical media!!!

The passage was really brilliant. Very different take on vampire fiction. Didn't know the twelve was out early on kindle..thanks for the heads up. :wave

Been burning through the Richard Stark Parker series. Finished books 1-4 and just ordered 5 from B&N. Ive already read the Darwyn Cooke graphic novel adaptations which are amazing and really helped me enjoy the novels more.

No worries, cool to hear you like'd the Passage too.

It's taking all of my willpower not to get The Twelve on Kindle. Not sure if I can wait another three and a half weeks.

I'm right there with you...stupid me let someone borrow The Passage and now I can't re-read it before The Twelve comes out. I have been counting the days till The Twelve comes out...seems like yesterday I was thinking "man it is going to be 2 more years" so another few weeks won't hurt.

How do you get it early on Kindle though? I just see a preorder on their site.

Fudge, it's not....

I skimmed through the order page and for some reason I thought it was already available for Kindle.

My bad (sorry VASith)!

I don't feel so bad anymore having to wait :lol , but I apologize for the misinformation about it being available early for Kindle. :slap

I'm currently reading The Passage for the first time now. Loving it so far. I'm a sucker for end-of-the-world novels.
