4th of July by James Patterson. Pretty good read so far, but it's more about a police drama than it is a murder mystery. I hope it starts to pick up soon as I haven't read more than 15 pages in the last week.

I gave up on anything James Patterson, his early books were pretty good, but then he started churning out a dozen a year and they went downhill. After I read three books that basically had the exact same ending I decided it was enough.

I'm currently reading House Secrets by Mike Lawson. It's not a great read, but I've really been enjoying it.

Ok gonna toss this one out there cause I am sure someone has read all or part of this series. Looking at finally checking out the Chronicles of Gor...yay or nay? I know there are like 26 books but I don't mind if it is actually good.

Lord of the Rings by JRRT... I think it's at least the fourth time I've read it, still one of the best!

I just got, and started reading, this today:

I feel the exact same way, but I do love the women's murder club.

Reading Lord Of The Rings 50th Anniversary Edition. I'm half way through Fellowship Of The Ring.

Same here. Just finished Book 3; always makes me a little sad that PJ had to leave so much stuff out and alter the characters in the movies.

I have a list 10 books I'd like to finish before May and then start with HoME again. The Hobbit has got me excited about Tolkien universe again.:D

Oh there are things that I wish he hadn't but things I like that he did. As a whole both are amazing and retain the heart of the story which is what for me is so important.

reading Mark Twain's "A Conneticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court". Not as relevant or witty as it probably was 100 years ago I guess.
