Both are excellent in my opinion. "Vacancy" is Hitchcockian (?) in many ways, and oh yeah---it stars the most beautiful woman on the planet.

"30 Days of Night" is the best vampire movie I've seen in a long time. One of the few films that is better than the source material.

Exactly as he said it... Vacancy is very much in the Hitchcock style, well done flick that ramps up the tension as it moves along.

30 Days is quite the intense ride, loved the comic... but they really made it work. The vampires are scary, something that hasn't been achieved in a long time. And the story is pretty fleshed out and doesn't cop out or move into unbelievable territory. I really loved it. Already planning vampire figures.
