I think it's because the first post in this thread made some mention of race. Anyway, you're right...Will Smith wouldn't play the character of Steve Rogers well in my opinion.

I thought Michael Clarke Duncan was a good choice to portray Kingpin. He looked the part and did a good job.

But no way should Will Smith be Captain American. Sorry, he has to be a white guy.

i was thinking Martin Lawrence as Bucky...that way the Captain America movie could be a prequel to Bad Boys...although they'd have to redo Bad Boys and make Bucky look old....or freeze them together at the end of Captain America.......

Granted since that is how he looks in the comics it would be more true to the comics but you can take out the white blue eyes blonde hair part for me. And now that you are going to pin me to it I have to be honest that I'm not certain that I can exactly say what the Captain America type is. I think of the Captain America type as being serious (maybe overly serious), old fashioned, maybe not very talkative, a person of few words, a serious fighter who doesn't go for banter. Which isn't very descriptive but its the best I can do off the top of my head. Smith might do fine in a role like that, but its not really the role I think of him doing.

Exacly how I feel. Plus, he played Hancock. He cant be another "hero". Just wont work.
