My husband and I haven't bought each other anything in years

What I got for Christmas was:

happy kids

the Lost encyclopedia, some socks, & some beads (I make jewelry) from my sister-in-law (she drew my name in the name draw, this year)

A fleece zip-front shirt and a gift certificate from Michael's (craft store) from my parents

BTW are them two twins?? they sure look like they could be or very close to the same age anyways. all our kids are 4-5 yrs apart, which kinda sucks since they never have the same interests.

great score man, it'll be about 2 yrs before she knows about presents and then look out.
1st christmas for new borns kinda suck since they can't even open their own presents, but the second year is great.

Yeah, my oldest daughter is almost 4 and this year she really tore into her presents. I thought she would last year, but she was too damn sleepy.

I get asked that a lot. They are 12 1/2 months apart. The older one turned 5 in Oct. and the younger one turned 4 in Nov. I'm very lucky that they usually play very well, together.

Christmas is not about presents to me. It's about spending time with friends and family and enjoying the ability to help and give to those less fortunate.

I know. This was the first year in 4 or 5 years that my one brother has been home for the holidays (Thanksgiving and Christmas and New Year's). He works for Blackwater (or what used to be Blackwater) and took several contracts in Iraq. He works in Afghanistan, now. He has to go back January 2. It's really nice to have the whole family together.
