Rather pleased this year, got 3 wonderful single malts Lagavulin, Highland Park & Arbeg so I guess family thing I'm partial to wee dram plus couple great ref books on WWII German rations and personal effects.

I will admit every so often one tends to treat myself with a new figure hehe

Cologne, Star Wars pajamas and a Star Wars shirt.

It was kind of hard to get excited, but I really didn't need anything to begin with so this was nice. I was kind of insulted by the pajamas at first but they're growing on me. The shirt and pajamas are actually pretty cool, and they match.

The design for both was basically this,

Can't find them online anywhere so I'm wondering where she got them.

Man, just when I thought it couldn't get any worse.
First Sideshow dangles that War Machine figure in my face only to send it to someone else, next the washing machine breaks down and I break a tooth last week, then my grandmother decides not to send any money this year for X-Mass, then I get that broken Hallmark ornament that I can't replace, and lastly the big ticket item which came from my mom is a nice woman's jacket.
I guess she thinks I cross dress.

Other then that I got an art pad and Avatar on Blu-Ray.

S#%* Christmas this year. All I can do is laugh.

At least I don't have any contact with those family members that always want to fight.

You may still get your war machine and let me know which Hallmark ornament you need.

My Mother cut back on grandkids gifts this year too. It's just getting too much for her. She may just buy for the littlest ones next year or none at all. I'm cutting back on my neices and nephews next year as well. There's just too many of them now.

#1 was the joy of seeing my three girls (the missus and the two little ones) unwrap their presents-- always the best gift.

Other than that:

-a vintage Reggie White Eagles jersey (which unfortunately pretty much exactly what my brother got me a couple of years ago-- the missus feels bad about that one even though I told her not to worry about it)

-oh, and a really cool blanket from my football team (as well as home brew and a great picture from my graduating QB of the two of us standing on the sidelines... it'll have to be a tradition as I got a similar picture from last year's starting QB)

It'll take me several months of savings, but I'll definitely get one.

The newest ornament, the Enterprise from Star Trek.
Great looking sculpt on the new ornament, and all the lights are really well done, just that the dish won't stay on, it blinks on and off when I tap on the saucer. They're all sold out here in Kansas City.

I talked to my sister and I'll have to send it back, she used her card on it. Then hopefully she can pick up a replacement online somewhere.

Yeah my grandmother does have a lot of relatives on that side of the family. I understand, it's just that I was expecting something like last year.
