It's a special kind of drunk. You feel....more alive and aware. It's more like a high then a drunk.

I was with a couple of buddies on shrooms, and apparently after a good 5 shots I was at their level. :dunno :lol

Good red wine can be like that. But, shroom level? I've never had mushrooms that didn't make me hallucinate.

Well, i'm not sure what that meant, but that's what the people on shrooms said. I was keeping up with them. :lol

Whatever film my wife is not interested in seeing is usually the one I go see:lecture

That makes more sense. I thought 'same level' meant something else. Also, not everyone hallucinates on mushrooms. The whole thing was just confusing and difficult to verbalize, but I was sure that the fractals were trying to tell me something important. For a moment I could understand everything, and the universe made perfect sense, but it kept getting away from me. Know what I mean?

Noooooo.. I knew too many people who had bad reactions to it to ever want to try it myself. Never met anyone who had a bad trip from shrooms. :lol

Smart man. :lecture

Acid is comparable to David Wong's soy sauce. I didn't start seeing the horrorshows until after I was in pretty deep, and I had a few peers end up institutionalized. I have a hard time deciding whether it was worth it, but I know I can safely say that there aren't many people who have seen the things I have.

Yes. And at the same time, no. I've never done it. I probably won't. I tend to buckle under extreme amount of mind altering drugs. Or specifically weed.

If I eat edibles, or those drink those THC drinks, my mind veers off so far from reality I freak out and have to calm myself down.

I try not to smoke that much. As much as I do love weed, I prefer booze because it numbs you. I'm happier drunk then I am really high. Not that it changes my stance on weed laws. But yeah.

And I'm afraid i'll fall into a horrible void if I do anything like that. Maybe not...but the fear is there. :(

Fear and psychedelics do not mix. I'll never eat acid again, simply because I've grown to fear it and the odds are about 100% that my brain would melt out my ears. Mushrooms are gentle, although I've seen people hospitalized from accidentally stumbling across a hyper-concentrated cap. I'm still extremely curious about peyote, but it's not exactly readily available up here. However, I know this guy in New Mexico, and if I ever crossed paths with him, I would be tempted to ask if he had any connections. Probably a bad idea, but I figure I'm allowed one or two.

I love the movies. I'll watch almost any type of movie. I go by the posters first. If something about it looks interesting. Secondly, I'll check out the actors, director, etc. Maybe watch a bit of the trailer if the people are unknown to me.
