What happen to HT ALIEN Dallas + Kane?

It probably is money for some people, but I have a feeling that Hurt just doesn't want his image used for toys/collectibles. Which is his right, of course.

Yep, exactly what I'll do, I don't really need a exact Hurt likeness.

Hopefully the sculpt is like Hurt and they paint it differently to minimize the likeness like they did with the Marines.

I am not getting either of these figures but if I was I would have posed Kane with the facehugger and broken visor option so this news would not bother me in the slightest, especially as Dallas is looking really good!

i'm excited about these figures again. my enthusiasm had dropped off with the delay and all the Batman stuff coming out, but the most recent pic of Dallas has got me wanting these figures NOW!

And this is just exactly why I do not give rats hairy patootey if my action figures look like the actors. I want Kane...not Hurt. Send him with a good representation of Kane and I will be most happy!

I am currently holding back on these 2 figures. I will probably wait for the production figures to ship and take a close look at them at the local retail shops before making a final decision on whether to get them or not.

Nowadays, budget is getting tight so I got to be more selective in the figures I am buying.

i really didn't want to display him with the facehugger head either... hopefully the sculpt is under the paint job though. it would only make sense to me to display him with the facehugger head if he was lying down and Dallas and Lambert where carrying him on a stretcher.

Has it been confirmed directly from either Sideshow or Hot Toys that John Hurt has not approved the use of his likeness for Kane? There wasn't anything in the newsletter to say that he hadn't.
If he hasn't approved, then I guess it has implications for not only this figure but any further 'Kane-without-the suit' figure HT may decide to do later.
