lately i've been into post-rock bands Sigur Ros and Explosions in the Sky. I haven't moved past them two yet in that genre.

Sigur Ros is amazing! I've seen them live twice and they are awesome. Another great band in this genre is "Amiina"

i used to listen to stuff like Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze, Ash Ra Temple. Its been a while though.

Sigur Ros only have two-three good songs IMO.They are a bit too artsy for my liking(fans too),their male vocalist sounds like a chick too(modest mouse anyone? lol).I love some of their stuff though,no doubt..very calming.
