What kind of television should i get?

Saw a report on tele tonight which basically asked the question what are u going to watch on your new LCD/Plasma?

They suggested if u will be playing games or watching cartoons then go for an LCD as the colours pop and you just cant beat that.

If you watch a lot of sport and movies then the realistic deep colours of a Plasma are the way to go.

Once again though its a personal choice and i'm sure you'll be happy with whatever u get.

everybody ive asked have said that lcd is better for gaming so it pretty much depends on you.

without having read all previous posts, my 52" PIONEER plasma is awesome. Don't believe all the negative press about plasma, it's simply not true with newest models.

I was told that as well. Pisses me off though because I expected to have image retention, but whenever I watch anything in 4x3, the line on the right side never fully goes away. So it still can happen.
