Civil War 4 me (I wish it were possible...). It got me into reading comics on a regular basis.

____ that, if it were up to me with a blank check I'd direct and write the big screen version of The Secret Wars.

They could do street level heroes that lead into a team-up film against a big threat.

Iron Fist
Luke Cage
Daredevil
Punisher

Could then join up to face The Hand or some other group.

Its funny how you look for my posts to intentionally troll. dunno:lecture:cuckoo:

I'm predispositioned to gravitate toward stupidity in posts and exploit it. :dunno

While I think Civil War would be good, so would Secret Invasion, but I'd really like to see World War Hulk on the big screen.

Actually, in terms of my own selfish preferences, I would probably go for a JLI movie focusing on Blue Beetle (Ted Kord) and Booster Gold. If it had the right comedic team at the helm, it could be mindblowingly awesome. And it would be guaranteed to make money because Batman would have a couple scenes calling them idiots and punching out Guy Gardner, etc.

I'm still interested in seeing the Simon Pegg Ant-Man. Did that get canceled?

I'd go for a marvel "The Sentry" movie.

Staring Alexander Skarsgard as Robert Reynolds/The Sentry

I'd rip the story straight from the comics were he battles with his inner demons and alter-ego The Void.
Guest appear the Fantastic Four, maybe some Avengers and a bunch of lesser villains for him to battle on the Raft at the start of the film.
I think this story would be perfect to convey on film. It's dark but very much a "Super" hero story.

The only problem would be the Sentry's costume.

I agree. Even though Ant-Man was never really a comedic character in the comics, I don't think people care enough to be upset about doing him as comedy in film. He was always a reluctant superhero, which can lead to comedy, and of course he had a kind of stupid power until, well, he became Giant Man :lol He also has a rich supermodel girlfriend with super powers, which not every superhero can say.

Edgar Wright is great.

Edgar Wright and Joe Cornish handed in an Antman script a couple of months back. That was the last thing I read about it. I don't think there has been any new progress. I should think we'll have to wait until SDCC to here about Marvels next movies.

we really need another Daredevil, really bad,
I would like to see the Punisher again as well..:monkey3

Was it all the CG that killed the first one? I didn't think it was nearly as bad as I'd expected it to be, and MCD ____ing rocked as the Kingpin. :lol

I Love Daredevil. and Im not afraid to say it, I have the Director's cut,
I do agree the movie has its faults, the playground Scene makes me cringe, specially the kids in it...
Elektra looked hot, but her training scene makes me cringe as well, but Bullseye was funny as hell and Kingpin was great too, I specially loved Daredevil's leather outfit, because, if you were going to fight crime and jump from buildings, you wouldn't use tights, that's the one thing I really liked, as well as the soundtrack, Daredevil might be hated, but I liked it when it came out, a movie with a lot of faults, but I liked it,
