I have a Canon 450D on the way and for the last week have done nothing but read/watch stuff on how to use it etc been helpful in understanding how it works now it's just putting it all into practice.

I have a Canon 450D on the way and for the last week have done nothing but read/watch stuff on how to use it etc been helpful in understanding how it works now it's just putting it all into practice.
It was a choice between the 450D and this one, the only thing that swayed me was the fact it came with 2 lenses in a kit. There is an instruction DVD on how to use it but I haven't watched it yet
I will probably use the Auto setting until I get the hang of it. CheersYep sure is.

I'll be using aperture priority mode for most of my collection i've seen the difference in what you can do when not in auto mode. I'm sure it's the setting Havok is using to get that nice blur in the background to isolate the subject.
It'll take a while to learn but will be well worth it imho.

Practice makes perfect as they say. I needed to re-do all my collectible pics anyway. I had a normal digital stills camera which was much easier to use but the shots were never that good, this way we can get some great shots.

Yeah all mine were shot with some crappy old 2mp that someone gave me as i was too busy spending my money on SSC to buy a good one.
Well there is no excuse now for crappy pics.
Woah it would almost be worth having you as a brother if there the kind of gifts you give.
I got myself a Sandisk Extreme 3 4GB card but not sure how many pics it will hold i was going to get an 8GB but just grabbed the 4 as it was well cheaper.

After hearing complaints about the body being out of proportion and whatnot,
I decided to just go ehead n' buy expecting to look better in person and boy was I wright! Looks 10x better. Got a killer deal and couldn't resist.
The head doesn't seem to big which alot people argue about. Do not judge before you see in person.
Unfortunately I'm forced to have it boxed up until I get more room to display him Forgot to take some pictures when I inspected the figure

Your not the first to say that
It is the biggest gift i've given but it was because at the end of November, i was finnaly granted a pension. So instead of just buying a bunch of stuff for me, i decided to give him that camera. He hadnt talked about anything else for 6+ months but he couldnt afford it and with a baby on the way he definitely couldnt afford it.

Great haul, RAV3N96!!! This is a beautiful PF indeed.. I don't see the "flaws" even on this release photo.

ED209 would be a nice addition to go with the PF and compliment it very well. If Sideshow ever creates a Maquette similar to the upcoming Avatar AMP Suit I will be all over that.
