My first SiMan helmet was lost in the mail, Royal Mail sent it elsewhere (Burkina Faso or Tataouine Tunisia maybe LOL), and on their tracking site it says it is returning to sender. But RS Prop Masters didn't wait and sent me a replacement which arrived fast, well packed and in perfect shape. The most accurate Stormtrooper helmet is here! And it is SUPERB too. :)

jkno, how many Storm Trooper heads do you have, what's the scale and I can't tell the difference between all the variants. (looks like the same pic over and over again :lol)

LOL :lol For now I have 7 Stormtrooper helmets all 1:1 life-size and wearable (and 2 on pre-order). Two are hero: SDS and eFX (they are with fewer teeth, bubble lenses, originally made of ABS, but one of mine being the eFX LE => made of fiberglass etc.) and the rest are stunt (more teeth, made of HIPS or HDPE, lenses are acetate, more ear screws etc.). The Stormtrooper helmets are different in many ways, depending on movie (ANH, ESB or ROTJ), the way they are assembled, from what mold are they taken - original mold or not, and if original mold from which one, and if cleaned up or not (SiMan is not cleaned up thus the bumps and wonkiness).

You can see more details and info regarding Stormie helmets here: https://www.starwarshelmets.com/original-stormtrooper-comparisons.htm

You lost me at eFX ABS LE HIPS HDPE SiMan :gah:

I know these though --> (ANH, ESB or ROTJ), I'll have to educate myself in your thread. :lecture

We have stopped collecting besides the current Buffy line. But we had a pre-order elsewhere we forgot about and it went through today. So our latest purchase (in hand pics to come) is the Dark Link ex statue by First4Figures.

:D

ABS and HDPE/HIPS are types of plastic used in making these helmets, ABS for Hero and the others for stunt. ABS is used in making other things in our lives, including toys and figures.

eFX Collectibles and Master Replicas (MR) are companies who make props, including Stormie buckets. They made LE (Limited Edition) and CE (Collector's Edition) Stormtrooper helmets. Soon they'll make a Legend.

SiMan (aka RS Prop Masters): the guys who own an original screen used Star Wars helmet, made a mold after it and voilà: this helmet :)

Thanks for the info jkno, I keep hearing about the Vader eFX mask and I missed out on the 1:1 SSC Exclusive, so I hope there's another. :vader

"SkiMan (aka RS Prop Masters)" does sound like the best quality out of the bunch and I can see why!!! :lecture

That's awesome! I just ordered the original Zelda for NES a few days ago :lol

I can't remember tbh. I've been rocking NES lately, I think Ninja Gaiden is the hardest NES game of All Time :lol :rock

I totally rock at Ninja Gaiden whenever I was a kid, it's sort of a rhythm game, Zelda I. was not too terribly hard but it took a while, Link is a little bigger in Z II. but the enemies were way worse :monkey4

I love Ninja Gaiden but I keep getting stuck on the boss on the 5th level :( :monkey4

I was going to say, where's his cam, it's there on the left. So are you after the Classic and Negative now?

Good to see the golden era of Sideshow pieces popping up in this thread today! :lecture
