When can we see some 1/6th scale Droids?

Nearly two years into the line, by far we have got:
Sith Probe Droid
Jedi Training Remote Droid
Senate Cam Droid

When will we get to see some proper Droids with arms and legs?

In the grim Darkness of the far future, when there is only War......

Of course, that means C-3PO has to come first...

Seeing the very recent release of 'IRON MAN - 12 inches MARK I figure' from HotToys, with all the intricate mechanical parts, I can't help but to imagine how 1/6th Droids from Star Wars can be presented.

The rebels medical Droids like FX-7 and 2-1B are rather complicated, so too are some of the Droids appearing in the Jawas' Sand crawler.

What I hope to see most are fighting Droids from the Separatists.

Yeah nearly forgot about the Spider Droids from the Trade Federation gang.

Right. With the same mould SideShow can release a version of the Super Battle Droids that is sliced into halves, showing the melted metal and exposed wires.

I was hoping for Attakus to do some Battle Droids but, alas, everything of their SW is on hold.

I know its been mentioned before, but maybe with the more collaborative relationship with HT droids will become more of a reality. I really want a great R2 and 3PO

I've been wanting an Imperial Probe Driod ever since Hasbro brought out the Star Wars line so many years ago. When they released the Hoth figures and the TaunTauns I just KNEW a Probe Drioid would be next. But alas, it wasn't. What a let down.

Are there any plans to make 1:6 scale Star Wars Droids, since you did the Life-Size ones?

We are looking at the Droids for possible inclusion in one of our lines, beyond Life-Size. We’re not ready to make promises, but it is something we’re looking at. Star Wars 12-inch in 2009 is definitely more focused on the armored side of Star Wars.

I got the Gentle Giant C-3PO statue a couple of days ago and one thing that struck me is how it would be rather difficult to do an accurate articulated droid like him in 1/6 scale. There are so many parts attached to the body that are really tiny and would be easily broken unless they were done in metal. The statue is actually not a bad match for Sideshow's figures, although it's not posable of course.
