I'll have to get those. I still need to get the NECA comic versions.

Pretty cool they are re-releasing these. I was thinking of getting the ones I had off of eBay since I had found this while going thru some of my stuff awhile back. Now it will be easier and cheaper.

Now I have all four of the NECA turtles on my desk in front of my monitor. They're really some of the best figures ever made. I just love them so much. Probably my favorite non 1/6th scale figures I own.

:lecture

I second that. Those NECA turtles are unreal. Now if they'd get on with the rest of the line...

I did see these Anniv. figures yesterday and they were very tempting. No villains, just three sets of Turtles so I'm guessing that's it for the moment.

Ah...the classic movie star Leonardo! These came out after the 2nd film I believe...and were all the rage. They're supposed to look like how they did in the films. The weird thing was the movie star line was largely made of flexible rubber.

I saw these at Target, but none of the other characters, just the turtles. It seems like every toy line I collected as a kid is making a huge comeback! These, the amazing He-Man line, the new Joe line, it's a good time to be a guy who grew up in the 80's!

I thought Thundercats was tied up with some sort of rights issue? I remember reading that somewhere, as revamped line for this license would be great!

Heck, even GI JOE slipped Matt Trakker from M.A.S.K. into their line!

:rotfl:lol:lol Yeah they were out of control. I only liked the original ones but I did have a few of the other wacky variants.

Oh man, my brother and I had a lot of the ones shown in the vid. The strangest being the clown Michelangelo. :lol
Together, we literally must have had over a hundred turtles, and various vehicles. I even had the turtle "house", but I sold that at a flea market in my teens. Most of them must be boxed away somewhere at my parents house now. I don't know how many thousand hours I must have played with them when I was little...

Now I'm in the mood for watching some turtles. Let's see if youtube has some episodes. :monkey5

The turtle house? Do you mean the sewer playset? That thing was sweet!

Toy lines were much cooler back in the day, with a ton of weird figures, awesome vehicles, and playsets!!

I loved these when I was little. I may have to go buy a set for sheer nostalgia. I had the van and the blimp when I was little. The blimp was so awesome. And I remember my mom taking all over town looking for Splinter. Yeah I was spoiled.

My mom went all over looking for April O'Neil so you best believe the second that comes out Im gonna hunt down every store til I find one.

I might have to pick up all of these I just freaked out when I saw the turtle van. The sad thing is I used to have all the vehicles but they all got thrown or my parents gave them away, I remember my dad threw away my technodrome I flipped out. If they come out with that I will be pumped.

I was taken by surprise when I saw them at Target, it was so unexpected that I didn't even notice them on the pegs the first time around.

Are they going to follow through with the others? That mini Krang next to Shredder was never pictured on the old cardbacks, so perhaps they really do plan to bring them all back.

I have the original Turtles in the packaging. I don't need the anniversary ones. :D

I also have the 4 original 1st release of the turtles MOC I got a year or so ago. Might have to pick up a set to display with my loose NECA turtles. For sure I'm getting the turtle van. The only vehicle I had was the blimp, if they release it not sure if I would get it.

When I was 8 years old or so, Ninja Turtles was THE toy/cartoon/video game for me and my buddies. We would play ninja turtles at recess, and even brought our toys to school to play with. I must have dressed up like a ninja turtle (always Michaelangelo) for 3-4 years straight. I used to watch the movie literally every night before I went to sleep. I knew all the words at one point. I would still like to get a hold of the soundtrack at some point (I mostly liked the one from the first movie, but I had the "live" tape from Pizza Hut and the TMNT 2 soundtrack, as well). I played the heck out of the tapes when I was a kid. I was the definition of a ninja turtle freak.
