When will we finally get to see Wolverine in his costume in a live action movie?

It could work if Wolverine didn't already have an established look. The secret is to make the enviornment match the uniform, just look at Watchmen. They fit in just fine. Even The Owl. The costumes are suppose to look silly in Watchmen yet somehow they don't.

Why does Wolverine wear a mask anyway? In the comics and cartoons it looks cool, but it's not like he is hiding some secret identity.

I was thinking the same thing.

I think that it's just from the era in which Wolverine was created. Back then most superheroes wore a mask.

That was the confusing part for me in TDK, when Bruce Wayne was talking with Lucious while wearing his mask and doing the voice....what the..

Anyways, back to Wolverine...

Even though he isn't hiding his identity, I still would like to see him just pop off the screen and kick some ass with his signature outfit.

I always enjoyed the Wolverine from the Marvel vs Capcom games where Wolverine was short but thick and muscular, crouched down bobbing back and forth, looking pissed off and fast as all hell when attacking...

Yeah, I want to see that in a live action movie, CGI or whatever....like that!

Jackman is a good Wolverine no doubt about that BUT just once I want to see a shorter, muscular and crouched Wolverine ready to pounce.

ughh..if that makes any sense....in my head it does but I can't translate that image very well.

Even 300 could've went wrong but look how awesome that turned out.

I'm actually one of the few who liked DareDevil so I think the costume turned out just fine. I take that back, I'm one of the few that didn't hate DareDevil.

I like it....although Punisher Warzone is now my Favorite Marvel (and superhero) movie (yes, I just went there blasphemy).

I liked his outifit.

Fun movie.

Good action.

I like Daredevil too. But I prefer the directors cut. I would like to see Kingpin, played by the same guy, return in Spiderman 4.
The costume was good, but I would have preferred a more traditional mask. DD's comic outfit would translate well to the big screen

Correct, the directors cut definately is the way to go with the DD movie, better uncut action, eliminates the love story and the story is more fleshed out.

Plus JF is Foggy, can't beat it.

Now, where is Wolverine with his costume

it will never happen...spandex does not do well in the movies man...it has to be hip and live up the the hype...so we get leather for all the non fans that need to go see the movie...leather translates better and looks more bad ass....we do not need these movies to go way of that first TMNT movie...cause that is the ^^^^ you will get if Wolverine wears spandex..maybe they can do something with the mask but they would have to explain it....dont let them explain it...we all know how well that went in the punisher movie when they botched the origin of his skull shirt..leave it alone..wolveine is bad ass as is

Sorry i dont want to see wolverine in yellow and brown spandex. If you want a good example look at BATMAN forever...or Batman and robin both films have the spandex look. Not for me i know why marvel chose a different look.

Cobra dude looked bad ass in his outfit so why can't wolverine wear something similar?

How about The Capt America movie, are we going to accept him without his costume?

i actually like the costume from the Xmen movies. for some reason they seem fitting for "real" world suits. the yellow and blue would be a nightmare if done in real life.

I just don't get it though...

I refuse to accept the fact that Spiderman looked good in his movies but Wolverine can't.
