Thanks. Just follow the instructions on the dye I'm assuming. I've never done this before.

Also, are you guys just using the TTM19 or knock off TT bodies for these? Just curious how the matty suits look on those bodies. Those matty bodies are huge.

I bought a bunch of Kumik Slim bodies. The Mattel bodies absolutely had to go for me.

For dye I used RIT Pearl Gray. Just be very diligent with how much dye you use! A tiny bit goes a long way!

I'm sure there's a 1/6 Melissa McCarthy or Kristen Wiig right around the corner. Heh.

I think we may hear something in a few months about some decent 1:6 licensed figures...

Seems likely. Licensors will try and sell manufacturers on the license (modern and classic). . . manufacturers will take it, just to do the classic versions. Nobody in their right mind is going to try and sell a set of 4 $200 sixth scale female action figures, especially if they don't have their ****s hanging out.

Which is kind of interesting when you think about the film from a merchandising perceptive. It's kind of a big deal that the studio let Feig do an all-female cast as it totally denies the opportunity for action figures. Though I think even if you were to do the first Ghostbusters movie today, it still wouldn't be a toyetic property. Nostalgia has turned Ghostbusters into an action figure license.

Well, I just ordered four pairs of black leather boots and 4 belts to replace the Matty ones.

The way I look at it, if licensed ones ever get made, I'll still have the ones I bashed together. I love the movie too much to not complete these.

I would dye my coveralls and make GB two versions outta them haha.

Do you have some inside info or is this just speculation?

I'm in the process of upgrading my Matty figures and would hold off if there is indeed something in the pipeline.

It's not speculation. But I wouldn't hold off - it could take a long time to realize.

Chronicle Collectibles are planning on 1/6 of the guys. Highly detailed I'm sure (given how good their Terror Dog is) but not strictly figures...more mini-pfs I'd guess. They've got some big plans for Slimer too...

Thanks for that. Interesting to say the least.

So they're probably going to be really. really expensive then, if the Terror Dog is anything to go by.

Agreed. While I hoped a company like 3Zero would have gotten the license, I'm curious to see what CC can come up with. The price of their other collectibles is what makes me think I won't be able to afford the team.

Yeah they would have to be legit jaw dropping for me to throw down money after having my customs. It would be a shame if they were mini Premium format though. The ability to pose is important for me.
