Then i'd understand because the director may have been friends with the person, and when he died, it wasn't easy to get over.

The Fellowship Of the Ring is better than Batman Begins and LOTR.
Joker > Sauron
Flass > Orcs
Bat Back Up > Ghost Back Up
Tumbler > Elephants
Alfred > Gandalf
Harvey Dent > Boromir
Lau > Grima Wormtongue
Clowns > Ringwraiths
Batpod > Horses
Fox > Elrond
Gotham > Minis Tirith
Batcave > Shire
Falafel > Weed
LOS > Urak Hai
Ras > Saruman
Gordon > Aragorn
Catwoman > Arwen
Bat Signal > Gandalfs Staff
Bane > Witch King
Talia's death > Sauron's death
Rachel TDK > Gimli
Nolan > Peter Jackson
Bob Kane > JRR Tolkien
Batman > LOTR
So Josh, you wouldn't be related to anyone in the CIA would you.
Batman's silly voice alone places Nolan's trilogy a distant second.
Odd thing is, Id say the LOTR films are overall better, but I'll rewatch the Batman films more often....

I love Fellowship. I can watch that any day. Two Towers I am sorry is freaking boring. Until the battle of Helm's Deep, it just feels like I am watching people either walking or getting introduced to characters I find annoying (mainly Aowen). Or watching slo mo Aragorn and Arwen talking. Blah. ROTK is really good, but LOTR peaked with it's first film.

I was more thinking you needed to worry about the DEA.
These things . . . are not true.
Especially Boromir and Harvey Dent. Boromir's fall is 10x better than Dent's and he actually redeems himself.
LOS > Uruk Hai? WUT?
Yep, agreed.
The Fellowship of the Ring is my favorite, especially the extended version. From the Shire to Amon Hen, it's all great and has a nice flow of pace.
I like the Two Towers but the tree/Ent stuff does take it's toll on me as does the Aragorn and Arwen love fest. It's fine up until Merry and Pippin go into Fangorn forest. The good outweigs the bad though. The highlights for me are Helms Deep, the opening with the Balrog fight, Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli tracking the Uruk-Hai who have captured Merry and Pippin, the Warg fight, most scenes with Saruman, King Theoden, and a good bit of the Frodo, Sam, Gollum and Faramir scenes.
Return of the King is also great, but it's just too grandiose and too long for my tastes. They linger way too long on the climax and it just seems over dramatic. It's like Peter Jackson and the cast and crew didn't want to leave.
But yeah, while they're all great, the Fellowship is definitely my favorite.
I call BS on this list. Everyone knows falafel taste like ****! YOu've lost credibility JyeFab!
Notice Jye intentionally left out the Hobbits and Thalia's death scene. Included, Batman fails.
While i'm excited for the Hobbit, for me it's somewhat anticlimatic that the LOTR were made first.
The biggest emotional impact has occurred already, the destruction of the ring.
While Hobbit will be fun and exciting, nothing will provide me that emotional ending.
