I have the AoU version, which is enough Cap for me. If I didn't have that, then I would be getting the Battling version. I like the shield and base.

Neither. The costume is too similar to the AOU one for me to justify buying it.

Loooord I shouldn't have opened this thread. Should've known that someone would bring up the scale version of Cap based on a t-shirt pic haha

I went with the battling version. It's my first Cap figure so I'm excited for it to arrive. I was so close to ordering the normal version with the April coupon but am glad that I waited. I like the subtle dirty effects on the battling version and the scratched shield is cool as is the diorama base. I would like a normal shield as well but I'm sure I can find one parted out or something.

i really like the bd cap but i already paid off my regular version. not too sour about not getting the bd one as the there's not much difference and i definately do not like the base it comes with.

I'm not a huge fan of the AOU and Civil War suits, but may well pick up the regular Civil War figure, simply because the Evans likeness is better than the one on my current cap (Golden Age with First Avenger sculpt). Battle damage shield and base aren't huge selling points to me. I prefer non-BD figures in general, particularly when there is something so movie-specific like Cap's shield with Black Panther's claw marks on it. Battling edition does have the cleaner head, ironically, which would be pretty desirable though.

I like battle damaged looks for certain characters but I normally don't want that look as the only representation of a character in my collection. I think this one is fine because it's not overly damaged, just a bit dirtier than the normal suit.
