They are from the DH AVP comic series.. it's called AVP WAR. Machiko is on the ship and one of the comics, she fights shorty (bio helmet has multiple horns) and if i remember corretly, Topknot (a generic bio helmet) was the leader of the clan. Sorry, no pics at the moment. They don't look that cool but i think it's neat that some comic writers give names to predators..

topknot and shorty are mentioned in the avp book avp war. shorty is a short predator whos pissed that machiko is actually in his hunting pack that set out to hunt and capture a queen. topknot is the leader of the pack im pretty sure i cant remember much about what they say about him. all i remember is shorty getting slapped in the mandibles by topknot

Well most of the lost Predator look the same. And Gort Predator has the same body and armor as Predator 2. I say maybe Snake Predator since his skin was another one of the more unique one from the Lost Preds and then they can give him the Gort Bio. That would be awesome.
And yes! Comic Preds would be great. I would love to see Broken Tusk. Or maybe Big Red from Batman Deadend? Oooooooh.

I snapped a couple of pics, Topknot is in the above pic, Shorty is below with the horned helmet.
If it isn't clear, in the comics Machiko is living with a clan of Predators, since she does not understand their language, well... besides bits and pieces, she nicknames them all for her own benefit to tell them apart.
Broken Tusk had a broken, well, tusk. Shorty was not tall. Topknot put some of his 'dreads' up, in a little knot.
I'd buy the comic Preds because I'm a fan of the comics, hell... if any were done based on Alex Maleev's art, I'd ^^^^ my pants in joy. - But, from what I've gathered, a lot of the people buying the Aliens and Predators, dislike or haven't read the comics, and generally call people who have, 'fanboys'. So, I don't really see them selling well... plus, some of the Predators in comics looked a little... well, bad. I was genuinely shocked to see Machiko get made.
If Hot Toys did a re-imagining of some of those Predators, like they did with her, they might sell really well, I just don't see Shorty, in a gold helmet and blue armor being a big hit.

I agree. And it would totally make me feel like an ass for spending all that money to complete my HT Pred collection. And HT usually never remakes any of their stuff unless if it was a massive upgrade like the Begins Batman. But the AVP preds were and still is hot sellers and have high value. I doubt Hot Toys will destroy the value of the original AVPs by making new ones.

Thanks for the pics Adam. Well.. unless there's better pics with more detail I'd imagine HT (if they did make Comic Predators) would have a lot of room for creative interpretation since there isn't much detail in those panels. Me personally.. I'd buy Narin like Predators i.e. not seen in movies/comics/etc. as long as I liked the final look. If Narin made 1/6 scale poseable customs instead of statues I think he'd make a killing in that area. I don't really care about the source (Movie/Comic/Etc.) as much as I do the look.

I dont think there will be any more Preds and certainly not more P2 Lost preds either.
If they make more I'm guessing they'll either be re-releases or maybe one from the comics seeing as they did Machiko. Actually I think I'd rather see the 2 from the Capcom video-arcade game.
I want the rest of Dutch's team first though.

No problem man, I googled them just to try and get lucky, when that didn't pan out, I figured I could snap a couple of shots.
I've said time and time again, if Narin got hired just to help design a Predator in a movie, or design something with Hot Toys... holy crap, it'd be sick as hell.
I get where you're coming from, hell, if Hot Toys stayed in the parameter of what we've seen in movies alone, and not add extremely weird crap to the Predators, I'd be alright with them just making up their own designs... pretty much like they did with Machiko. If they looked mean and nasty and had a good overall look to them, I'd most likely buy em.

Exactly. I know some people are only interested in "Movie" Preds which is cool.. but me personally I like the design and character beyond just the movie. So I would buy a 1/6 scale version of a Pred NOT seen in any type of media from HT (or any other company) as long as it looked good to me and I was happy with the quality, sculpt, etc.

I have sold/am selling my HT preds, so my view is pretty impartial now. I dont think they should remake the avp preds, they ave been done! Leave them! I would feel sorry for people that spent a pretty penny to get them to! I can understand why people would want them remade as they probably missed out on them and dont want to spend the £ on ebay.

I hope that HT will make the other Lost Hunters,
I made 5 of the hunters myself.
I did that because i do think that HT is not going to make other Lost Hunters.
I also made my own Trophy wall out of Wood & Clay.
Also made a Weapon/Mask trophy wall with a Facehugger tube!
