I can't believe how fast these have gone up. Less than two weeks ago you could have had one of these for about $150.00 shipped.

I ordered mine from Action HQ and paid $109 plus $26 for shipping( they're based in Hong Kong). Got an email from them stating he's on his way, should be here in 5-7 business days via Airmail. Can't believe how much it's going for now. Glad I bought him when I did. :D

Someone just paid $333 for this on ebay, a new record! Glad most of us got in under the wire. Should be a small wave of them listed on eBay now that they have been released so If you really want one try to snag one out of the batch for a decent price. But I don't think they'll be coming down too much with a 1200 ES.

Yeah, Pjam... I'm glad I got in under the wire on this and did not have to shell out that kind of dough for it. That would have been rediculous!...:monkey2

That's a great deal!

Do you know if Action HQ is carrying the Medicom RAH Clark Kent? It's a mail-order Exclusive ltd 1000.

Yes, they do.

Yikes, is that 200 shipped because you can get them on ebay for that price shipped...

I wish. $199.95 plus shipping.

Oh well, as I said they're on ebay for 200 shipped. It would be VERY COOL if Sideshow convinced/requested/pleaded Medicom to release these through their site like they did with Symbiote Spidey...

I'm sure Medicom would allow it if they could. Warner Bros/DC Direct on the other hand...

I doubt they would have a problem if it was very limited, besides I'm talking about the Medicom mail-order Clark Kent.
Wishful thinking I imagine...

I agree no way would WB/DC allow the costumed Medicom/HT Superman figures to be released in US.

HOLY MOLY! :horror

I mean, I think I got the very last one on Ebay that was $110 pre shipping, so, uh...yeah. WHEW!
Man, these have gone nuts!

Watch for a second release! I betcha. Like what Medicom's done with The Rocketeer. It sold like this Supes has. Now, there's a new and improved one. I bet either we see a rerelease, or Takara has one about to hit the proverbial fan like what happened with Batman...

Whatever, this is amazing to watch...where will it top off?

What do you guys think about the DC Superman Returns 13" figure? I saw it at some website for $59.99 and looked very good. Since Medicom and HT are out of my budget do you think I should go for the DC one?

Don't think so Les, which is why they're going nuts. The HT Supes has a COA with LE number/1200, I think this is it for the SR figure. Look for a sequel HT Supes though...

I'm very happy with mine. The suit is well made, and the S shield and boots are nicely detailed and textured. The likeness isn't as good as Medicom's, but it's miles ahead of the hideous HT sculpt and does the best job out of the three at capturing the smooth features of Routh's face. The body is bulky, but it still looks proportionate and not too out of scale in the suit.

Of the 3 the HT appears to be the best likeness to Routh IMO. The 13" is very nice, I like the neck joint that doesn't appear on the HT and allows for better flying poses. And the costume is excellent. Unfortunately they use the standard DC body and it's far, far too muscular for Routh. The HT is closer to human proportions.

That is the one I have, the face is great in person and looks like Routh. The chest is a bit overly muscular for Routh, but not excessively imo. I think it comes down to whether you prefer something to be the most accurate or the more aesthetically pleasing. Frankly I don't think the HT looks much like Routh at all, the body shape is itself nothing like him in the suit.

To my eyes, this: https://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j88/pjam07/superman3.jpg doesn't resemble this: https://www.100megsfree4.com/thatkid/supes.jpg much at all.

Nice pic, Batty. Can't wait for him and Batman to arrive. I wonder if there's a way to jerry rig a doll stand that will allow him to relax in his Earth orbiting poses...

Yeah, that's what I was thinking.... or at least something to get a good flying pose or something, not just have him standing there all the time. I mean... it's SUPER man for crying out loud. :D
