Not exactly the best comparison as the Medicom picture is taken in the worst light and the HT is in a better light.

That's more like it. A "fair and balanced" comparison.

Those are great pics (especially the in flight one). Yet the Medicom figure still has a HORRID body. Seriously, he's shaped more like Pumpkinhead than Superman.

Great pics CF! The sclupt on medicoms Supes isn't bad, it's just the chest that really bugs me, besides the shorter size of the body!

Actually, from these pics it's not so much the chest as the total lack of an abdominal area.

Medicom's Jack Bauer figure actually came with a stomach buffer pad thing, but it really doesn't need it. I may use it on my Superman.

Agreed. That could indeed help.

Of course then you'd still have the annoying issue of Superman's facial expression being perpetually pissed off. Freakin' Medicom. Maybe he should have a stare-off competition against their equally baffling angry Jedi Luke.

I think the cape on the Medicom looks better than the H.T. but that is it. The Medicom's body proportions are all out of whack.

well from medicom's packing. You can see that they have used the picture on the left as reference guide for superman's pose (holding his breath in) and body shape especially the thigh muscle.

What do you mean? A little Photoshopping of a still from SUPERMAN RETURNS and all of a sudden the Medicom Supes is screen accurate:

that's the problem i think. Medi just used their standard RAH Massive style body like they've used w/ comic Spidey and a few others, and while it looks great for comic characters who need that uber Mr. Olympus look, it's way too big for Routh.

Okay, those pics really do emphasize the out of proportion chest and tiny fists. But the sculpt looks decent!

I agree that the sculpt looks good, but I still don't get the body proportions. Here's the RAH Massive body (nude and Spider-man), and I don't think it looks anything like what was used for Superman's body. Superman looks all stretched out. Not having any Medicoms myself, I can't really judge.
