That's a pretty strong feeling. Hate? Hate Batman?

Why so Serious?

I wish I knew. :lol

I just remember having a distain for Batman. While at that same time, blindly listening to Rap music. :lol

Needless to say, I later came to realize I dont like Rap, and I love Batman.

yep toilet paper, as in i can wipe my ass with comic books. thats how much they mean to me. i mean who reads them anyway besides little kids and comics nerds? i love the movies though, but latley the movies have been sucking.

Ok everyone's entitled to they're opinions but still you don't read the comics aka the source material yet you know how Batman is "supposed to be" please enlighten me and enjoy the paper cuts in your ass...aside from that I do agree that Bale's acting seems kinda stiff but I think it suits the character and I much prefer Nolan's films over Burton's* Returns sucked major ass I mean they turned Catwoman into a creepy psycho even the Catwoman film was better* The only thing I hate about the Nolan films is that self righteous _____ Rachel but she's been "taken care of" and Nolan's adding Catwoman to this film so it's all good.

I think the rest of us will politely agree to disagree with ya. Especially about the Catwoman film. :lol

Yeah I know it's just personal opinion and it isn't just the Catwoman thing, for some reason I've just always hated that movie since I saw it as a kid*scared the bejesus outta me back then too and this is from someone who grew up on Batman: TAS* and tried watching it when I was older still hated it. :lol

I recently watched Batman Forever and i gotta say, it is a great movie. The first batman movie i saw was the Burton films, and i grew up with that and the animated series. And they are beyond amazing, and the best batman stuff i have scene IMO, but Forever has its great moments.

I think we needed to change things up a little, Val Kilmers batman was cool, his bruce was a little weak IMO but i think theres some powerful acting in it also, a little much at times.

The production and style of the film is just so badass, For a 95 Blockbuster the movie has great production value, the suits hold up great IMO and robins a boss. It has its weak points but i just found a new respect for this movie. Schumacher isnt the best but he made the Batman movies fun for a little, i enjoyed it. We can look back and be okay because we have to ultra fantastic Nolan films.

But anyway, I hear there was like 40 minutes of Forever cut out? The original Cut is much longer, darker and evolves bruces character more. I checked some rough footage on youtube and this would of made an epic special edition. Theres some awesome stuff they cut out an i think WB should re release all the footage, jus like they did with The Donner cut, and the returns footage. It be a 2 1/2 hour batman epic, who would wanna see it?

Not a fan of either Batman movie Schumacher made. Liked Tim Burton's two movies (Batman more than Batman Returns) though. And yes, I saw all 4 in the theater.

There is a Batman movie for everyone.

Forever was a fun movie.

Batman doesn't always have to be grim dark and gritty.

I enjoyed Batman Forever. I was a big fan of Val Kilmer going into it anyway. I thought that his portrayal of Bruce Wayne/Batman was great. Yet I still missed Michael Keaton in the role. I liked Chris O' Donnell as Robin. It was good to see Robin introduced. I thought Jim Carrey's crazy personality fit the Riddler very well! For me, the weakest character was Tommy Lee Jones as Two-Face. Just too goofy, and stupid for my taste. Aaron Eckhart did SO much better in the role in The Dark Knight. I saw Batman Forever in a theater in 1995. It's definitely the better of the two Batman movies that Joel Schumacher directed.

Yes, I too saw all four of the Batman movies in a theater. I thought Keaton was the best, and Kilmer a close second place. Clooney...well...we all know how BAD that was. :monkey4

:rotfl:rotfl Agreed! Honeslty Clooneys Bruce didnt bother me, his scenes with Alfred were very well done, But his Batman was Horrendous.

Id say my favs are without a doubt Batman 89 and TDK, there so powerful but After watching Batman Forever and studying the culture and the BTS stuff it seems that it was ment to be alot more. Tommy Lee Jones and Jim Carry fighting for the bigger over the top performance did get in the way of the plot but i love the styalized look. The effects for 95 WERE EPIC!!! It was cool to see a flashby batman, but at the same time have a dark tone.

I really want WB to release the old intedned cut! Im shure its long, is it on the bluray set or anything?

i never really listened to the lyrics until recently, actually googled them.. but is he talking about cocaine!??!?

Id go for a Kilmer Bats and a Robin from the film.

Kilmer did great, but Im a Val fan.

Robin was cool

Riddler sucked, hate JC

Two-face was played like a crazy Joker and stunk. I dont know if it was TLJ idea or someone elses to do Two face like that.

Batmobile, not as cool as Burtons, but WAY much cooler than Batman and Robins mobile. One person seat, made it look like a quarter kids ride at a store.
