"Why doesn't Sideshow make figures for girls?"

I don't have a wife or a girl friend right now, but I think it really depends on if they like the movie at all, I know a girl who hates Star Wars and therefore it wouldn't matter if there were girly figures. But then again she makes fun of me buying the figures. I laugh at her. The thing is, if you look at the box of the figure it says this is NOT a toy it's an adult Collectible, so that makes me feel better. But I must say I would really like to see some nice Amidala dresses, that would be interesting. (hehe, no water treatment for those...)

And of course, not until after we get a Sidious :emperor

IMO, all the figure that SS releases are for both male and female genders. My wife loves Nosferatu, Twisted Bunnies, and the Monty Phyton figures so there goes them. Also, she isn't much into female dolls like Padme. She is more into cute stuff like Yoda, R2-D2, Ewoks, Sandpeople, Rancor  etc...I'm even surprise she doesn't like Luke or the Anakin figure.

My wife doesn't collect, so she doesn't really care if they make figures for girls or not, but she does enjoy what I collect. And I don't think Sideshow makes figures with the sex of their customers in mind... just what the "collectors" want. Besides girls have cooties.

My guy swells over the thought of a Daisy Duke :rotfl

My 2 cents is those of you that have partners not into collecting count your blessings because my hubbie & I love the hobby therefore cannot afford to do anything else!

He just has to get that figure, and then there's me "well if you're going to get that then I can get this" so on & so forth

We're DOOMED!

:lol

:yuck

Ahem, seriously though... I'd love a few variations of Queen Amidala. I imagine they'd cost a pretty penny what with the tailoring & wigs. I'd still buy them!

I don't think all firls are waiting for the 'girlie' figures. My younger sister collects, but she only wants major action characters--Mace Windu, Yoda, Han Solo, Legolas, any elven warrior, etc. The only girls she likes are the women Jedi because they can actually fight--same with Eowyn. I would actually prefer my Eowyn in one of her gowns, but my sister insists on getting her with her armour. I tell you, when she gets married, I hope she finds a guy who's willing to put up with her collection too....
