Why isn't there more of an outrage that HT hasn't made Predator 1 yet?

I got the BD predator 2, cos I love the Predator films, but I still have mixed feelings over him. On the one hand he's a Pred so he should be cool, but there's just something about him that I'm not loving. I keep thinking about selling him and maybe getting Wolf, as his head sculpt is much better.
As for a P1 I agree that HT will reuse alot of the Elder Pred stuff. Still Lets wait until I pass judgement. HT have proved that they are the best 1/6 scale maker at the moment, and with the awesome work they are putting out, I hope that The P1 will be the best ever Predator.

it actually really surprise me since the beginning that people has been clamoring to get predator 1.

I love P1, dont get me wrong, but i actually think that other predators are as good as this one. each has its own characteristic.

the thing that confound me is that this is going to be the one with the least accessories and we have others with more abundant accessories, yet people like this one even more.

But i have to say, hot toys is a shrewd company, they know if they released this, they know that this line is over. i dont believe they are perfecting the design or whatever.

The reason is simple, if they released p1, then ht predator line will be over. period.

maybe if p3/avp 3 movie come out, they can make another one. but i dont reallly think it will be successful anyway.
P1 is their ace and they want to show it at the end of the game

Head and Bio wise, yes he is one of the best. I would say P2 Elder is the only one that could match or surpass him. From the neck down though he is definately lacking...

You can have a thousand, much cooler Preds, but there's only one original. That's pretty much it. nostalgia. Just as I wouldn't have the space for a set of Colonial Marines, I wouldn't have the space for the P1 commando crew. I just want the P1 Jungle Hunter Predator. They can take their time coming out with it. I want it to be a perfect figure. Let them master the art then do it. Look at the massive improvements they've made from AVP preds to the wolf.

Nonsense speak for yourself. It has nothing to do with nostalgia. The original predator just has the best design. It hasn't been topped and i doubt it ever will, the design is flawless.

P1 is the most 'lite' of the predators, he's got almost nothing when it comes to accessories value or sculpt value when he's going to be released. The armour has already been released in the P2 Elder set, so all people are clamouring about is a new head sculpt and mask. Really.

That being said, I believe P2 had a much better design and Wolf is just the most badass [in design] of them all.

personally, i don't care because i tend to skip figures that have been made before.
if it looks more accurate than the McFarlane version, i might get it. that's a big "if" coming from Hot Toys.

also, i got the p2 elder.
a p1 figure would be basically the same but with a different paint scheme and accessories. essentially a variant.

until i see pics and unless Hot Toys blows this out of the water and makes the ultimate predator, i'm happy with my p2 elder.

seriously, though. you could just make an awesome p1 out of elder parts. and you wouldn't have to wait a whole year to get it.
and HT has already made cooler looking predators. p1 is pretty boring next to the wolf and lost preds.
