I was bored so i bumped this thread for no reason. Where is Baze Malbus Hot Toys?

Great idea ! Still can't believe HT didn't show anything Star Wars related for Celebration. Slack HT......slack.

Baze would have been the perfect figure too. Not Ep9 related, Rogue One is a fan favourite movie. Perfect !

My favorite thread, but we should edit krennic and add in Death Star trooper or bespin Han. Hellboy was the announcement this week, so still no Star Wars. I’m bored as well, nothing exciting on these boards. We need an epic figure announcement soon. Dx han bespin/hoth? Do it hot toys.

I just hope Baze is in one Cassian episode or HT decide to slot him in somewhere after a Krennic release. Just hope there were good sales of Krennic to give HT confidence.

back in 2016 Hot Toys dedicated a whole exhibition solely just for Rouge One, when SW was still a thing. But well at least we got Krennic already .

We got Krennic and they hadn’t even shown a prototype at a show, I think we’ll see Blaze again when convention season starts up.

Just flood their facebook page with Baze requests every time they put up a pre-order. People did it with Krennic, and that finally worked. Then again there's one girl who's been posting the same Padme gif, on every Hot Toys post, for about the last 3 years haha

Just flood their facebook page with Baze requests every time they put up a pre-order. People did it with Krennic, and that finally worked. Then again there's one girl who's been posting the same Padme gif, on every Hot Toys post, for about the last 3 years haha

They'll get to Padme now they've done Anakin and Obi Wan.

But yes, posting pics is one of the only ways to show them there is still interest in a figure. Especially if the pic gets likes from other people.

Cassian is a shoe-in with the tv series coming. We’ll possibly also see the likes of Saw Gerrera and Enfys Nest again. Unless Baze and Chirrut get their own Guardians of the Whill tv show, then it’s touch and go whether they’ll release Baze. Then again there’ll be a couple of years gap after Episode IX, so it’ll be a perfect time to catch up with the original trilogy, the tv series and the likes of Rogue One. Here’s a prediction, we’ll get a mass of clone troopers in that period.

Yes I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Disney using Baze and Chirrut in their own series to sell "Disney +" to the huge Chinese market. That would help get people signed up if even through association with the Star Wars brand. Plus Disney always needs to keep Star Wars somehow present in the Chinese market.

I remember a lot of the mixed reviews of Rogue One at the time criticising lack of characterisation, which is total bs. You could take at least half a dozen characters out of that film and base a series around them. Cassian and K-2SO are obviously already having their back stories explored. The same could easily be done with Chirrut/Baze, Jyn, Krennic, Saw Gerrera and his rebel faction. That movie was so so good, and is proof of how good Disney SW can be with the correct focus and effort.

SW is not a thing in Asia, you could even cast Jackie Chan for whatever lead role in SW and they just could'nt be bothered to care.

Yep totally. Thank god it was the best received non-saga film by fans.

It's my favourite of all the films, so bring on any extended story material in that OT/just pre OT lived in Star Wars world.

If I was Disney I'd be filling the subscription service now with spin off shows from Rogue One, the Mandalorian and maybe a Solo 2, then bring in B&Weiss films in the theater and spin off some TV series from that. Plus any original non-film related content of course.

Disney + is such a no-brainer when you consider the Star Wars content and the Marvel spin off content alone.

My guess is that we get around 8-10 Star Wars preorders by January. We usually get one a month, but with the movie, probably a few at one time. At least 4 of those will be for rise of Skywalker. That leaves maybe 6 slots. Jango is a definite, as it’s already been shown and will sell.
Bespin Han will probably go up once young han starts shipping. Maybe baze can squeeze in somewhere? Doubtful, but I never thought we would get krennic.

Man oh man, would I love an Enfys Nest figure! With how cool the costume is, I think it would look amazing.
