Have a really strong feeling it’s going to be ESB Han. It feels like forever since we had a pre-order go up. There’s nothing more disheartening than checking on a Friday morning to see what HT have put up and seeing a Cosbaby or something.

I look at as HT seeing RO as a good film, but not one to explore or invest deeply because it doesn’t fit in with SW lore other than the Death Star plans carrying over to ANH.

Also the fact that all the major characters died, so there is nothing really to build off of it for future ideas

What ???? Doesn't fit into Star Wars lore. The whole lived in universe is what made Rogue One the film which most fit with SW lore. Most consider it part of the OT.

"Nothing to build off for future ideas" Well considering there is a Cassian TV series coming to Disney +, I don't know about that.

Asian actors such as Baze are one of the only hopes to make Star Wars more popular in the Asian market.

I only wrote Baze as a joke, but would be good to see any Star Wars figure announced on May 4th, since HT totally skipped Celebration due to Avengers hype.

By the way have a look how many Rogue One figures have been made, compared to say ESB.

Tbf last year there was nothing on that day. In fact there was nothing until the end of May. The year before that Hoth Leia dropped around that date, and the year before that the TLJ Executioner. Just like Celebration we do tend to set ourselves up a bit for disappointment on these special days.

I could be wrong but I think the Rogue One line is the most robust line of figures produced by Hot Toys for a single movie, Marvel included, atleast until the Endgame run is finished.

Definitely the highest quality line figure wise. The prequels may overtake that soon.

They also really went to some extra special care with the deluxe boxes.

I'm not normally one who cares too much about boxes (although Hot Toys are way above average), but these Deluxe issues of Jyn and Chirrut are a thing of beauty. They really went the extra mile with them.

Yes, the Chirrut box is beautifully designed. I only have the normal Jyn, but kind of wish I'd got the deluxe now knowing that.

The RO Tank Driver, along with the ESB Snowtrooper, is the nicest looking SW trooper ever imo.

I hope we get something from rogue one or esb this month. Baze or bespin Han would be awesome! I have a feeling though that endgame is going to keep going and going this month. Maybe the end of May we can get something good.

I hope I’m wrong, but it’s doubtful that ht will take marvel off of the front page. Star Wars is secondary for ht right now.

Deluxe or standard ? He has a pretty sweet detailed costume and accessories. Sculpt is also very good.
