My guess is that we get around 8-10 Star Wars preorders by January. We usually get one a month, but with the movie, probably a few at one time. At least 4 of those will be for rise of Skywalker. That leaves maybe 6 slots. Jango is a definite, as it’s already been shown and will sell.
Bespin Han will probably go up once young han starts shipping. Maybe baze can squeeze in somewhere? Doubtful, but I never thought we would get krennic.

There were 14 between April 2018-January 2019 (interestingly April was the only month without a pre-order). That included only 3 figures from 'Solo'. There were 18 figures put up for pre-order between April 2017-January 2018. Which included 8 TLJ figures.

So, let's take the median number and say 16 figures, including Episode IX, to go up between April this year and January 2020. That still leaves around 8 spots for other figures in that time.

I have a feeling we will see repurposed figures like a rotj Vader and a darth sidious. They already have most the parts and it’s a quick buck. Maybe somewhere a tantive trooper or hoth rebel is lurking around in development. We can also bank on poe, ren, Rey, Finn, new first order troops, so that will take up a big chunk of the preorders. Hopefully it’s a bespin lando and not old lando.
Then, maybe baze can sneak in. Do it hot toys.

Bespin Lando was pretty much confirmed. Just a question of time for him. He's one of the last humans I need from the OT.

If the didn't give us a Rebel Fleet Trooper after all this time, I'm guessing zero chance of a rank-and-file Hoth rebel and have no hope for the RFT.

I am buying the Blu Ray for sure. Would be very interesting to compare viewership on a subscription based TV show vs a movie. I think HTs will wait and see as well unless the Mouse order them to make one.

Only a dream but imagine a die cast version for the metallic armor.

Disney has pretty strong ties to Apple. I wouldn't be surprised that they do something similar to Game of Thrones Season 8 where other parties such as Amazon or Apple iTunes can sell it 24hrs later than HBO subrcribers at $2-3 per episode. That's what I did. Then I have a HD digital copy for ever and get to see it pretty much directly (well 24 hrs later). This would work for me until Disney Plus becomes available.

I'm normally a BluRay fan no question. But that just takes too long, plus it's a media which is dying unfortunately. Won't stop me getting a 9 disc 4K box set of Star Wars though.

I heard that ANH exists as a 4K version, and I can only assume they are converting all the others to 4K for a final release. I don't think Rogue One is even out on 4K yet either. Everything after that as singles came out on 4K.

The crowd would go wild if they included a despecialised version with that, but general consensus is that Lucas never wanted that, and Disney will probably respect that.

I bet the original theatrical versions didn’t go to Disney with the sale. I bet George locked those away long ago, to him the special editions are final.

I heard that ANH exists as a 4K version, and I can only assume they are converting all the others to 4K for a final release. I don't think Rogue One is even out on 4K yet either. Everything after that as singles came out on 4K.

I like the altered version of ESB better. ANH and ROTJ are a massacre!

Have a really strong feeling it’s going to be ESB Han. It feels like forever since we had a pre-order go up. There’s nothing more disheartening than checking on a Friday morning to see what HT have put up and seeing a Cosbaby or something.

I look at as HT seeing RO as a good film, but not one to explore or invest deeply because it doesn’t fit in with SW lore other than the Death Star plans carrying over to ANH.

Also the fact that all the major characters died, so there is nothing really to build off of it for future ideas
