Medi's can be had for much cheaper if you look around.

IIRC, I got mine for around $75 - $80.


Of course, you can never have enough Jacks so just get them both

That is the MR site price but most online retailers have it cheaper.

I got Medicom Jack from BigBadToyStore for like $80 I think, maybe $85, don't remember. I would get the Medicom version. I have seen both, and I think Medi is better.

I got my Medi Jack from alterego for around $140 shipped. I don't remember seeing him anywhere for much cheaper than that.

Both are great IMO but I think the Hot Toys one has more detail in the costume and a slightly better likeness.

well i like both HT and Medi but i'd say the best would be Sovereign Studios but looks like Shawn's site is down again. wonder if it's got to do w/ the neg feedback he'd been getting lately.
anyway, his Jack was sweet. tailored cothes, he'd finally gotten the coat down pat, "real" hair, had started using pliable material for the boots. they usually went for about the HT price.

edit: nevermind. after reading up more on this, it seems he's really developing a bad rep. i wouldn't recommend dealing w/ him til he's addressed it. shame. best Jack out there.

I have the Medi, but so far from what I've seen the Hot Toys will edge it out in terms of paint apps and outfit.

Hopefully he'll be available through US dealers from less than $130, but at the very least I can unload the Medi and pay a little extra.

medi is around $120 plus shipping. you can get a cheaper one but the ebay seller has a fairly crappy rating. take a shot. the ht version is around $130 plus shipping. but most sellers are from hong kong and shipping adds another $30. plus you have to prepay and wait. ordered one from bbts for a whopping $159.99. anyone know when the ht version will ship and a cheaper place to get one?

i really like the sculpt on the ht version, plus it includes jack's infamous compass.
