Will it see a slow period? Sure like anything I'm sure it will but the fact that comic stuff has moved fairly well I don't think it will be much at all. As far as Comic-Cons attendance going down. Not a chance its only grown the last 7 years I've been going and not every year has some major comic movie coming out.

They use the movies to expand the customer base, but the movies would be nothing without the comic readers.
yet, hollywood butchers the movie by not following the comic-book story line. *sigh*
I dont think SS thinks or acts like they're on a high horse at all. They done some of the best work I've ever seen with Marvel.

Sabes looks great to me. Might be one of the best looking Marvel pieces I've seen them release.
Of course Marvel will keep going on and be done by other companies as it always has been.
How does Sideshow not listen to the fans? In the Marvel line they've done a lot of that. Thing is they give what the fans want then they change their mind mid stream and want something else. Also they have to make items that sell to a broad audience. Not just people who want certain things cause that line won't sell for ____.

Nah, there is plenty of comic stuff still there but it is more of an entertainment convention now.
If they followed comics straight on you'd get movies that more resembled Batman and Robin which would suck or movies only comic fans would go see. Again they have to sell these to a broader audience.

Price increases have gone with everyone, every company chooses things that people won't care for time to time, I don't like ES thing but its only ever been a few times and mostly cause of stuff happening between ordering at Comic-Con and the site, a handful of pieces over the years have had any "significant" QC much like other companies.
Just my take.
Just find it funny that I've seen you say several nice things about the SS Marvel line but you say here that you would drop it at the first chance. Bowen makes some really nice Marvel stuff as do a few other companies if you so choose to leave.

HELL YES!
A little competition never hurt anyone or any company. I'm sure no one would complain for better overall statue for their collection.
Competition is great food for an overall quality product!

I guess I'm just confused on how you don't feel they aren't listening to the fans as a whole.
Like I said anytime they have with Marvel folks have changed what they wanted mid stream and wanted something else. I'll go back to people wanting women of marvel so bad and then saying thats enough women we want something else.
There's been a few poses but are you saying all items in the same era should have similar poses? Wouldn't that get boring? What do you mean by format? Like PF vs Comicquette vs Maquette or scale?
Competition is a good thing I agree and they have Bowen to generate that. However, as licensing things go usually if one company get a license its hard for someone else to get it in that same scale I believe.
