I'm pretty stumped on this one. I've looked through a lot of reference shots, I can't find anything. It's not a base, according to Surfer anyways. It has to be something that is hidden very well, some place we don't get close up shots of, possibly on a plasma cannon or a backpack. Gotta be something AVP.

Here's another hint: When searching references, don't look for the markings, just focus on form. That pic is a major close up.

i was watching one of sideshow previeee sneak videos where they showed sneaks of jake ,elder, classic, sauron pf, almost every single statue that have been put out till now, including elvira in coffin the only thing not yet out is

IDK how i feel about that pose, but i would wait to see the sculpted pred instead of just a CG human. That pose does not scream scar to me though. I would like a pose with his shurikens or something

But if the image is that big of a close-up, what has markings small enough for that?

Hmm... I want to say it's a shoulder bell, but Wolf's doesn't have inscriptions. Does the AVP Elder have them? Could be him... or Scar, in some weird spot we're not aware of.

I'm very surprised nobody has figured out exactly what this is a shot of yet. I guess it's hard for me not to know, but I thought it would be more recognizable. Don't overthink it. Remember the 3PO & R2 PFs teaser was a small section of 3PO's crotch.

I mean it's a close up of a small section, so don't try looking for something with writing on it cause you probably won't see it in full shots, but I would have thought people could recognize the shape of the piece in the pic.

This is not a Hot Toys figure, but that's your last clue.

I won't say who said what, but the answer is already in this thread. It's been guessed correctly, but not with much confidence, and not with correct figure + scale at the same time.

Well wolf's mask is really not shaped like that. The forehead is smooth with the writing on it not ridged like that.

It HAS to be an AVP or AVP-R Predator.

I'm going to say a 1/5 statue of Wolf. Not an LSB.




EDIT: Wait, but that's been said before and according to Surfer, no one's gotten the right figure/scale combination yet. Hrm... well, if it isn't a helmet and the details look scaled, I don't see how it could be anything but a 1/5 statue or LSB. But LSB and statue have already been guessed for multiple Predators. So what could it be? Unless Sideshow is unveiling a new type of product here (a scale or format we haven't yet seen).
