Im going to order tomorrow but will call and ask afew questions first! If i dont like the answers im not purchasing it! I really fond it wierd they wont replace a broken item for a 2k statue. I want SSC to tell me that so I will ask them this flatly!

nice let us know how it goes ( im sure you were going to anyway lol ) Ill have mine here on Thursday, but will not be able to open it up till Saturday ( moving and will be no point for me to take it all out ). Its going to be my "treat" after moving all day...so, we shall see if it turns out to be a good day.

I had the CM and the maquette, and despite the problems the wolf is still the best representation and piece of a Predator to me.

It's a real good piece if you get a good one. Is it worth the 2k? not IMO but if you have the money to spare go for it.

I've basically sold off my 1/6 and 1/4 scale collection, and plan on getting some of the 1/2 line this and Dr Doom top my list.. possibly Obi wan or a Vader... if he comes out and Indy (if he looks good)... I'm going for more of a gallery look in my home... If sideshow doesn't provide me with satisfactory answers tomorrow.. I'll be saving a whole lot of cash for sure. I'm not blindly going to fork over that much cash without knowing the whole picture. I'll report back what I'm told...

I will, If they say.. if your item is broken, and we have no replacements available , but we'd be happy to give you $25.00 to $50.00.. Also they need to be checking $2000 statues out at the warehouse before they ship them out... my money will not go to sideshow. I think this statue is bad ***... but if the support is not their.. I'm definitely out!! Let's hope they have good positive things to say!

Considering what we already know about this subject I'm not expecting anything different. Wouldn't make sense why SS would suddenly offer different options a week later.

Good luck with them checking it before it ships out, they are so luke warm about that. They did check my DM (got a good one)

Hi Zero... I'm hoping they just have answers. I'm not looking to grill them, or demand things, but just ask simple questions. All I really need to know is, if I receive a broken statue in any way, and need a replacement.. is a replacement available to the customer or is it send it back for a refund.. If so I'm not getting one.. I just could not fathom that there aren't any replacement parts for a 2K statue with an open ES.. yet there are for limited to 500 pc. PF's. It just makes no sense to me.. I'm really looking forward to chatting with customer service tomorrow. It may be Darth Maul for me...

I just spoke to Jennifer @ SSC customer service dept... There are Preds in stock.... If you have a broken Pred arrive .. they will replace the broken section, replacing the broken part if possible. They will not send you an entirely new Pred if say the head is broken.. They gave the usual these are hand made and painted, no two are alike, and the paint apps will not be perfect because they are hand made. They will not replace your entire item if your not happy with the paint apps... they will offer you a slight refund or you can return the entire item! Most of you know this already I also spoke with someone in the returns dept.. and there is not a rampart out of control return of the Pred LSF. They have had some replacement pieces due to breakage and they claim they have addressed them to their best degree.. They also said there is not a massive Darth Maul problem either.. a few issues with some light sabers not working or broken in shipping which they claim they have addressed with the customers. So there you have it.. it's as always are call to buy or not! I'm getting the Pred..

Its just odd that the few people who have spoken out about getting this piece on here, half of them have came in broken or damaged. I am wondering how many people who "lurk" here actually got it and its in perfect condition. Also wondering how many others have gotten them in good condition that do not post here. Its really hard to say. Seems from what we have seen at least 1/3 of them are coming damaged some sort of way. Paint chips ect...bad QC issues. I think some things are just people being extremely picky but for 2k..can not blame them. I am going to spend a few hours looking mine over, inch by inch to see any defects. Not saying I would be willing to return it for a little bitty thing but if it has chips, cracked pieces...etc. Its getting returned. Personally, I just cant resist trying to get a good one. That one video review sucked me in and just can not get owning it out of my head.
