This piece looks phenomenal even without the hair.
The sculptor replied on Statueforum about it, he said that the hair require extra care into production when you paint them, if you sculpt them. If you paint them, the effect doesn't come out as good. I didn't know it was such a pain tu pull as an effect.
If there's even a small chance that it'll come out crappy, I'd rather not have it. Looks fine to me as is.
None of the other SSC Wolverine releases came out crappy. No reason this one should given SSC's previous track record.
Most people had a nervous breakdown over Batman's scruff, it looked "dirty" to some people on that other forum..
so yeah, take the good with the bad.

*sigh*
why is this so hard for you to comprehend, hair on skin of Caucasian statues in the past has received backlash for looking too "dirty" by certain **** retentive customers.
It doesn't matter if its skin on the arms or nut sack, or face.. it appears "dirty" to some, some even go as far as making racially insensitive remarks, so yeah... you can thank those idiots for ruining it for everyone else..
Sideshow listens I guess.
Statues produced years apart by different hands doesn't = consistency. The added detail would be nice but it's hardly a deal breaker.
I'm still waiting for webbing on Spider-Man to be reliable.
Almost EVERY company has a bad history of mucking up the lines on Spidey's costume. That's just a simple fact. Also, I'm not willing to let SSC off the hook by leaving out details in a statue when they are bumping up the pricing at the rate they are going. It's too easy for them to take short cuts of late and charge us more for their pieces. EVERY single Wolvie piece SSC has released came with his arm hair looking great. Now, with ever increasing prices it's too difficult to get the arm hair right nowadays? I'm not buying it. And this is coming from someone who already PO'd the piece. For me personally, it is an important physical trait of the character even if they do end up leaving it off on this PF.
This doesnt work for me.
Ive been in manufacturing for just over 10 years and there are a number of reason why any single component of a project will get left out of the final approved piece. Usually its $.
